I gave up on Louis Vuitton after seeing Kim K showing off LV branded garbage cans. If LV will sink that low, I have no interest anymore.

I wonder if people realize that the LV logo bags are made of coated canvas , not leather. What's luxurious about that? Maybe the price tag!
  • @Kalamolng
It's rumored that LV has been secretly been produced in China. So the pattern and logo can be replicated very EASILY!
  • I’m french, living in Paris. I’m honestly not interested in buying LV. First of all, there are sooooo many counterfeits that make LV lose its value. And secondly, everyone and their dogs wants a LV piece. What’s luxurious about that? Oh and the canva? What a joke!!! Why would I pay luxury prices for items that has nothing luxurious about them!?! I have wayy to many friends who think alike.

I am not wealthy, but I still am not interested in buying something everyone else seems to have.
  • They won’t know the difference but you will! I can’t lie or live with myself like that!

There are super fakes out there that are better than the authentics.

First of all LV is over-producing. For the longest time you could only buy it in less than ten places on the whole planet. Now it's absolutely everywhere. The same is true for most luxury brands. It's not rare anymore, and value comes from something being precious and not easily obtained. I personally predict a crash for a lot of luxury because of it. Secondly the Chinese counterfeitters have become so good at it that LV now has to sew in hidden RFID identifier chips to try to combat it.

I've always hated fake luxury. I'm also no fan of loud logo's, real or fake. Another great video btw. Thank you.
  • I know for me personally, I could never buy counterfeit. I would rather save my money and buy the real thing. When you buy counterfeit you never know what you getting and those things are made of things you won’t believe

Say what you want, I'm still an LV girl. No brand beat them on simple innovative and utilitarian design. And the canvas is durable. From the simple mini-pochette to the bandouliere keepalls, LV create useful bags. LV has discontinued and forgotten more bags than some brands have ever created.

I don’t like LV anymore, they destroyed their reputation and look after they started putting their logo on everything and anything.
  • I never cared about high end but considering their prices it seems to me that they shouldn't be having quality issues.

I know mine are real, don’t really care what others think! I think LV is making a comeback, they have great designs. And I will always love seeing a monogram out and about on the streets!
  • These days LV craftsmanship has gone downhill… cracking canvas peeling canvas & terrible edge coat! I buy pre loved and only older pieces!
  • @arfriedman4577
Dooney is cheaper for cotton canvas bags and nicer designs.
  • @Cecilia-
honestly I stopped carrying wallets and bags atp. They are so heavy and carrying them throughout the day, breaks my arms and hands. I just go digital or stuff a few cards and 1 lipstick in my pocket when I go out. Dont see the point in suffering carrying anything out that doesnt go in to my pocket
  • I ended up getting into Hermes because I became bored with LV. Everyone has it and the amount of fakes are such a turn off. Plus the fact that the fakes have gotten so good that it has surpassed the original Lux brand’s quality 😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • @Padudie
I love LV and I don’t buy counterfeit.
  • @Terriwith2arfs
Strathberry!!! Beautifully made, authentic (so far I've not seen any dupes) and of sterling quality!!
