Chrono Cross is like a giant unexplored ocean. It is so deep, mysterious, and obscure that no matter how much time passes, you never feel like you’ve really explored the whole game.

one of the most beautiful games I ve ever played, reminds me the time in my childhood when I discovered that games can be art too
  • @Suedeash
This game is seriously art, it's hard to explain but there were moments playing it where I said to myself 'this is art.' Fighting Miguel with that sunset over Nadia's bell (as the sun sets on that possible future and the dead sea if you will), Nikki's song, etc. there's so much magical stuff.

This thing pushed the PS1 to the limits. Love the soundtrack too.

I love how many different routes and small events can happen depending on who is in the party and the choices along the way. I was blown away when i played the second time and entered the manor in a fight through the front gate, instead of sneaking through the forest. It's really hammering the concept of parallel dimensions and how choices affect one destiny, all through gameplay.

The amount of Harle in this video made me smile. Wow, I never thought about her and Lynx never actually interacting. That's really interesting

I’m actually replaying this masterpiece right now for the third time. ♥️ I guess chrono cross will always have a place in my heart. Absolutely love the story, characters, battle system, and THE MUSIC. 💯

One of the best videogames of all time and that is a reason for make a remake. The new generation needs to know this masterpiece.

Great video! Sadly, baffles me that anyone remember Nobuteru Yuuki, the character designer of the game, to me one of the best artist on 90s anime. He created characters for cult classics like Record of the Lodoss War and Escaflowne, and worked in several games, sadly he is completely forgot nowadays. I think he was a key part on Chrono Cross, even when I haven't play the game except for a few hours the design of the characters is really amazing.

This was the first video game I bought with my own money, and it is still my favorite rpg of all time. I have so many fond memories of this amazing game!
  • This game had me at the intro. Still has the best damn musical score on the PS I had ever seen back then
  • One of my favorite games . I remember I was playing 5 rpgs at the same time ff7,ff8,legends of legia, xenogears and chronocross best moment in my life for exceptional music and storylines . Man do I miss the old style games as far as story and implementation. I.e fully completed released games. Thanks for the nostalgia. The music brought back tons of memories
  • A masterpiece. Love this game. An HD remaster to see the beautiful landscapes and art would be perfect.
  • @Donjosue
This game had some of the best music out of any game i've played. I may be jaded or have a case of "nostalgia blindness" but I think it's just masterful
  • @SirBradford012
I'm a superfan of this game. Its fact the guile was gonna be magil but was cut for memory restrictions. Also zoah is a prince lol
  • @vanerek
"it has been said this game is not a sequel to Chrono Trigger"... Yet in the box it specifically talks about happening 20 years after trigger
  • @Tython82
From what I understand part of the reason for the Magus controversy was actually due to the excessive amount of characters meant they had less time to focus on the individual stories.
  • the game of my life. I hope they develop a remaster or remake soon.
