  • No one has ever come close to this guy.Never will.👑👑👑👑
  • Love your reactions...Elvis was heavily involved with the arrangement of the songs he recorded. He is the greatest of all time. The king forever 👑👑👑❤❤❤
  • There is no question about it, Elvis was in total control of the arrangements for all the live songs. Elvis is the greatest performer of all time no one beats Elvis and certainly not mj .
  • Truly amazing. I live in Australia but I would have paid anything to see my idol in concert. Wonderful reaction, thank you.
  • Great reaction. Thank you. Elvis is outstanding!! ❤❤❤❤❤The greatest.

Thank you for your great reaction. Elvis was underrated as an arranger. He arranged all the songs in thousands of hours in rehearsels, like he wanted it to be, brought in on stage and made it all his own.

this is perhaps the best reaction video to this amazing performance..
  • Thank you for your great reaction to this beautiful song and fantastic performance from Elvis, love his voice 🎼🎶🎵🎙😊
  • Elvis did what he felt and taught himself to do it superbly. His genuine appreciation of other musicians encouraged them also to make wonderful music. It still surprises me to hear someone like you appreciate his talent after the vicious criticism and ridicule he got when he was alive.

He was amazing!! There was only one Elvis! Enjoyed your commentary!
  • Meet him in Hawaii when he was doing this concert. Most handsome, nice man ever. He is the best entertainer I have ever seen. Charisma in spades. Seen many great entertainers but never another ELVIS. Pavarotti once said " Elvis could sing like him but he could not sing like ELVIS."
  • Seeing this man live in concert, must have been close to a religious experience. An incredible singer, a «charisma monster» that transcends time and bridges generation gaps, vastly underrated. No need for 100 dancers, gimmicks or 200 trucks with extra effects, just one man and his mind-blowing talent. His back-up singer,, Kathy Westmoreland, classically trained, said it best, « his voice just responded, he hit notes that he wasn’t supposed to hit. He reduced us (the back-up singers),to tears, many, many times with that voice». World-famous opera singers, like Pavarotti and Placido Domingo, loved Elvis, the latter commenting, «his voice, was the one voice I wish I had». Elvis, missed by millions to this day.

Oh yeah that was a MasterClass in musicianship. Elvis was the arranger. Joe Gershio Orchestra is in the mix but Joe did whatever Elvis directed him to do. Elvis was extremely involved in every key and every note of the orchestra. He could feel it. He would know if something is off and he would adjust on the fly. On this particular song, the Orchestra is perfect and that’s who Elvis was signaling to at the end when he clinched his fists. He was actually thanking the band.
  • Isn't he amazing? Just love him! And yes he did all his arranging and producing, at some point you should watch his in studio rehearsals. Like when he was trying to get the exact sound he wanted with the song "Bridge Over Trouble Water". Then watch him have fun with the band and backing singers afterwards. I bet you'd enjoy it. You did a great reaction! Thank you
  • @maggieshome
Fantastic reaction. Love that version Elvis brilliant
  • great reaction, you make all the right points .Thank you for appreciating Elvs's greatness
  • Elvis was heavily involved in the music arrangements & arrangements for the backup singers. Nothing happened on stage that Elvis hadn’t arranged, or had approved of. Lighting on stage was very important in Elvis’ case, as he suffered from advanced glaucoma of both eyes, & lights shining directly into his eyes was not only very painful, but also could cause further damage. He was having cortisone steroid injections into his eyes to lower the very high pressure causing the glaucoma. So yes, everything that went on during a performance, was either orchestrated by him, or had been approved by him. I hope you will watch An American Trilogy which is an Amazing performance from this same 1973 Aloha from Hawaii concert, which was the first live concert beamed across the globe via satellite to forty countries. I watched it live in New Zealand.
