Disney used to touch our hearts, now they touch us inappropriately.
-
Black guy is the kind of guy who'd complain there isn't enough diversity in, say, a period piece set in rural England in the eighteenth century.
-
I recently came across a definition for woke films/television: "Woke replaces character with identity, and story with ideology" Brilliant!
-
>Diverse Movie >Black Panther >All Black Cast >Diverse Movie
-
As a black man, I don't like Earnest's representation of black men on this panel.
-
Nothing more annoying than seeing a grown man rolling his eyes at every comment for 20 mins like a six year old girl.

Hero meets villain, villain gets the better of hero, hero goes on a journey, meets some friends, maybe falls in love, hero faces off against villain, villain gets defeated, hero prevails! Throw in a few jokes/comic relief characters. It’s literally that easy!!!

Blackwashing real characters is an absolute audacity and should be legit pointed out as rewriting history. Depictions of Cleopatra, Atilla, Isaac Newton, Anne Boleyn and many more for better ESG score should not be allowed. I would love to see a reaction to Martin Luther King depicted as paraplegic non-binary Asian.

The black dude is a huge part of the problem - avoid the topic, spin things emotionally, feign ignorance on what’s happening in front of everyone’s eyes, pretend that exceptions to the rule discredit the rule, gloss over the laziness of the entire subject

I’m here for Nerdrotic and Critical Drinker. Shout out for the Fellowship.
-
Damn, drinker and Nerd smashed this dude. Great interview thank you Piers for hosting.
-
When Esther said she hates all musicals I fell in love faster than I ever have with anyone ever
-
This Ernest guy is way out of his depth. He's saying the same mainstream talking points that have been getting shot down for years
-
The black guy on the end says, "People want diverse films." No, they don't. Most people want good films, that appeal to their interests, and they're happy for some of those films to be diverse, if it makes sense for the story. There's a huge difference there. Nobody is entertained by diversity itself.

I canceled Disney+ when they had a cartoon telling my daughter how to use a tampon and while shopping for tampons, a man in the grocery aisle pretending to be a woman asked about the tampons. I called Disney to complain and they didn’t call me back.
-
This was the ultimate cross over we needed
-
Of course the guy who wrote a book titled, "The Case for Cancel Culture" would say there is no culture war.
-
Nerdrotic and the Critical Drinker should be regulars. They're fucking awesome!! ❤
-
4:52 I love when Piers called him out when he was rolling his eyes

The Barbie movie was a good example. I put that on for my 5 year old daughter and she was baffled by what she was watching. I had to explain that this movie about a freaking plastic toy you like to play with isn't actually for you. It's for adults to express ideas that you don't understand.
