Jewish comedian Alex Edelman pays a visit to the Forward offices in downtown Manhattan in between rehearsals of his hit new solo show "Just For Us." We find out what his unique bar mitzvah theme was, and play a short game of "Yiddish or Gibberish."

    The problem is that half of the Yiddish words are from older Yiddish (Yiddish not spoken today, similar to words in English that are not spoken today)

    Nice video! But "khutspe" is absolutely a Yiddish word. As with many other Yiddish words, the word has a Hebrew/Aramaic (loshn koydesh) origin, but is also 100% Yiddish.
