“Phd in fuck you” - “phd in clown” is the best line I’ve ever seen.
  • @jennilah
Dr Roach was my favorite character. chat's ability to keep his character consistent, from adopting every robot and raising them as one of his own boys, to constantly having a PHD in everything... everything in that hilarious enthusiastic yelling voice. A+
  • @justv1bin
My favorite part was when Dr. Roach said "my boys are my boys now!" and totally stole all of the bread. Truly a boys moment
  • @VancePantss
Charborg's chat is always eager to just adopt and kiss.
  • The character dynamic is basically a murder hobo dnd party trying to coexist with a normal dnd party.
  • It's like watching the left brain and the right brain work frantically to push out an idea like it's constipation this is wholesome in a really weird way
  • @Water-rg7gp
chrbrgs chat is so much less chaotic when trying to communicate, they have a more developed hive mind.

That last fight between slimantha and roach gave me some "kids' imaginary fights" vibes... And then it went full fanfic fuel.
  • @Mylenapony
I like to think that Dr. Roach made these robots, and that’s why he’s so reluctant to kill them. His creations, no matter how much blood they shed, he can help but love them
  • @bigsmoke4385
I love how Dr. Roach and Slimantha are the literal definition of "Do the stupidest stuff ever and have it somehow work", a great example is the legendary loaf of bread KO.
  • @lordodai
"Let me die," demanded the slimy automaton, its voice laden with a fervent rage. "My boy," Dr. Roach began. "Why would you say something like that?"
  • @Tuna989
Dr.Roach is not actually his name, he changed it after being experimented with at a prison colony, into which he was thrown after using his knowledge in robotics and programming to attempt to create an AI construct thats a replica of his dead son (in this universe creation of sentient AI is illegal as they may cause whats called a "disruption event"). It is unknown how his son passed away but it clearly left a significant dent in the doctor, who never quite dealt with his trauma. During his stay at the prison, he often reminisced what happened to his research, what came of his son, the prison's "treatment" is meant to make prisoners forget their identites via horrific biological mutation, however even that could not stop him from sorrow. While "treatment" was succesful, and "Dr.Roach" was born, the disjointed thoughts remained, and a new thing was born, a hatred for humanity for the crimes against him. Slimantha on the other hand was raised at a peaceful planet of slime creatures, at appropiate age she graduated the Void Ranger Academy, a school for future keepers of interplanetary peace. She was applauded for being able to deal with most situations in the most unconventional ways, and never keeping her guard down. Being comprised of a substance which had many bizarre properties allowed her to shoot acidic bullets [think like Foo Fighters from jojo], absorb most substances, use mitosis to create clones of herself, weld materials together, and even transmutate objects into materials she absorbed previously. Her absorption however has one big problem, certain substances cause her mood to drastically change. It was just a small mishap, an accident, no one got hurt, but during a mission to recover a well known criminal, she suddenly felt odd, like she's loosing her temper. Due to snapping out at an another Ranger whom was at the scene of the arrest, Slimantha let the perp slip out and escape, no one was hurt however her reputation was tarnished. To this day she cannot believe it turned out that way, she believes she was framed, and someone paid the criminal to unknowingly inject her with some sort of drug, she has no proof. After that one of the Void Lieutenants came up with the most uncommon of ideas, an Ai Disruption Event occured at one of the allied Stations, and they decided to team up a previously convicted felon "Dr.Roach" and Slimantha to investigate. They told Slimantha that the good Doctor will be a good asset on this mission due to his experience in such events, as he almost caused one himself, Slimantha was unhappy to be "put into a death filled floating hunk of junk with a criminal", but she was assured that "While Dr.Roach may be a little unhinged, he is of no threat to anybody, in fact we made sure he's neutered and uncapable of harming anyone". Due to her current status she had no choice but to agree, as she shortly departed with the Doctor into the station. (Btw this is all made up by me, before anyone starts to talk shit THIS IS JUST A HEADCANON FOR THE CONCEPT IM NOT ASSOCIATED WITH CHARBORG OR CRIKEN)
  • @jasinfinity
dr roach adopting craig immediately was honestly super cute. "my boy!"
  • @Vesdus
"PHD in evil" was such a fulfilling moment! xD
  • @ruxcy9149
Slimantha and Dr. Roach are the ultimate duo.
  • @RangoRNA
I like how each character is basically the collective personification of each chat and that you can really see their differences based on the decisions they make.
