Let Dean show you how he replaced the defective display on the Lectric 2.0 XP electric bike. This display was defective from the factory and as such, Dean was sent a replacement by Lectric. Replacement included the controller. If your display is giving you issues, take a look. This is an easy fix.

My almost identical equipped Aipas A2 Elite step-thru e-bike compared to Lectric XP3.0 - after only 6 mo & 450 mi on odometer reading got M5 display dead, i.e., not powering up when pressing the power button. Since the e-bike charging works, showing red-green light display on the charging cable adapter, it was almost clear that not powering up the control display is not due to faulty controller unit, instead M5 display is the culprit. So, contacted Aipas and they are mailing replacement display along with the connecting cables and control unit linked to it. It was somewhat fortunate that my e-bike is still under warranty, so no cost for the part replacement.
