Fighterz and kakarot nailed it with the art style also props to limit breaker

Maybe it's just me but i fucking love how kakarot keeps the reaction shots like in the anime
  • Best animation goes to Kakarot, but the most accurate to the meaning and reason behind Gohan's anger is most captured in Burst Limit. You see that Android 16 was not just all about killing Goku. He loved life and Gohan believed in that. He became angry because someone who gave everything to protect life.

God i love XV2's animation artstyle and how it actually tries to at least subvert what we expect from the main story into something new is so nice to see
  • @sctkarter1111
I love that the recent games included the tears once the transformation was done. Just a really nice touch to show this form was achieved through pure rage and frustration

"I'd say he's gone to a better place, but... we both know he never had a soul."
  • @773Spair
The FighterZ version might not be all that long, but somehow 16 rushing because he knows he only has a breath of time-then to be quickly silenced makes it meaningful.

as someone who played most DB games made before 2013, I am super impressed that Kakarot finally, FINALLY. Has the cutscene properly and fully animated like a real video game

    0:30 - 0:35 "THEIR IS NOTHING WRONG WITH FIGHTING TO BRING ABOUT P E N I S - the captions
  • @Senior_Boba
9:18 I love that beast gohan transformation animation it really looks like xenoverse 2 is stepping it up
  • @abhabh6896
I think that line respresents his inhibitions being cut away. Gohan isnt cut out for violence so he really needs that. I hope this beast form has a mental effect on him that it block his "I am a pacifist" persona out, atleast enough for him to be able to throw a good punch without holding back.

Is it me or did the heart of this scene really stick out in the old school games. The guys who worked on them cared man! good ol Kakarot did bring it back a bit though.
  • @Krisz01777
Love how the translation changes from version to version
  • @MK.__
My fav is DBZ Kakarot. The emotion in gohan & all other's reaction - piccolo & goku were great & added more meaning to the scene!
  • @TheReZisTLust
Man the first voice was perfectly robotic and sounds like its actually breaking
  • @Steph_57710
