I think it is worth noting that the melody in this is the same melody as used in Halo Reach, like in 'Winter Contingency' when you first see your broken helmet, and when Jorge sacrifices himself.

The editing work in this cutscene is masterful. The timing of when the beat drops, the camera angle showing the pelicans advancing and the sound of one of them taking fire layered on top. Incredible work
