They are singing to a girl from a province in Papua New Guinea called New Britain. A Island province that was colonized by Britain in WWII. Purpur means flower/girl and Lewa mean Heart/My Love

They singing about "purpur lewa" definitely about a girl. Purpur can be referred to as a flower 🌼. "Lewa" means heart❤. And the girl they singing about is from an island in one of the provinces in Papua New Guinea 🇵🇬 called Matupit. Which is situated in the volcanic🌋 area of Rabaul. The little dancer performance there is a traditional dance done by the people from the area. His pretty much saying that his faraway but his still madly in love with her.Languages they used were English, tok pisin and kunua.
