  • It continues! Thank you all so much for sticking around. If there is any obscure, weird, creepy or wacky cod zombies trivia/theories/rabbit holes/easter eggs that you think would make for a good entry on a 4th call of duty zombies iceberg, comment them down here! I'd love to take an even EVEN deeper dive...

The cycle in MOTD is actually directly tied to the greater cycle of the Aether storyline, it's basically the engine that keeps the cycle running smoothly. When Al breaks the cycle by finally getting revenge on the other mobsters the cycle is broken, leading to the Kronorium changing and the events of BOTD taking place. This is shown by having three ghosts of inmates and the spirit of a seagull fighting off the warden so Primis can escape just before the final boss. The seagull represents Al since he is free from the cycle of death and the other mobsters are still prisoners, left to repent for their betrayal. Richtofen even has a quote where he says something like "Billy, Sal, Finn.. Al? OH that teensy little seagull!"

I feel the exact same way about Moon. It is easily one of the most unnerving maps to play on solo - especially the BO1 version. Something about the spaciousness of the map tied with the cosmonaut and the PES intercom is creepy af.

When he was talking about round change themes, the moment he said, “Here’s Mob of the Dead” I got a Burger King ad 💀
  • 1:37:20 man that sent me back to the real hype days of fnaf, when a single jpeg on Scott’s site would send the internet into a frenzy. Crazy how one music box song could have been recognized in a different light if they chose it for the buried mystery box. Awesome video/ice burg as always. Can’t wait for a horror of bo2 vid!
  • A better explanation on Game Resets Every map has a set number of entities at are constantly being loaded starting from the beginning of the game. Every 50 milliseconds the number of existing entities on the map is added to an invisible counter. For example, Nacht der Untoten has 191 entities, so at game start the counter will read 191. After 50 milliseconds, the system will add the number of existing entities on the map to the counter, so now the counter now reads 382. After another 50 milliseconds the counter will read 573. etc. Since the game is coded in 32-bit, the maximum number of entities the system can handle is 2,147,483,647. After a very very very long time the counter will exceed the 32 bit integer limit and cause an overflow. Once this happens, the map/game will reset because the only way for the system to continue counting is to reset the counter, but in order to reset the counter the system has to reset EVERYTHING including the map/game itself. To extend the game time, a player can remove entities from a map by interacting with or shooting objects and/or completing the EE. Doing this will reduce the number of entities added to the counter every 50 milliseconds which in turn extends the game time. I hope this is a better explanation and I hope I didn't make this more confusing.

I never knew about the Misty changes, and am not exactly upset about not seeing the knockers, but more that she is the only character with major appearance changes. I think it'd be neat to have every character to change clothes/alter their previous outfits
  • @burgerbattle
If BO4 Misty had existed in BO2, I don't think I would've had such a fixation on her.
  • @samu_rai5794
This is definetly in my top 3 CoD zombies series ever. Happy to see you still doing it.
  • The "vbush" and the creepy unused chanting of Buried Mystery Box, to me, is a solid proof that zombies could do a great horror elements. Imagine having a full map set in full horror like that. non-Treyarch zombies tried to do something like this with WW2 and Exo-zombies, but that is not it
  • @Bacchus325
This is the first ice berg I've watched where I actually knew almost everything on it. I'm proud of myself. That's not a negative for the iceberg either it was so fun being reminded of all these things and even learning new tidbits about some of them.
  • @Astrosk1er
Death and taxes is good… but Bacon and eggs 👌
  • I swear I remember a trailer where Monty said that the forest was the Rift and followed it up by saying "Think of it as a place between places." Also Tranzit was a very ambitious there were plans for bus route B, and many believe that Nuketown was a stop on it. Mostly because you can hear a bus honk when playing Nuketown zombies.
  • yeah, the Moon's ambience is immensely disturbing, almost liminal in some ways. favorite BO1 map by far.

I think something that would make a lot of sense for the 50/50 perk would be to just make your mag have either 50% more bullets in it, or to make your mag hold 50% of your entire ammo pool making it so you only need to reload once.
