I built one that's similar to this... One tip for ya, John is to take out that straight 240 volt twistlock, and drop in an L14-30 receptacle. Run that short #10 white wire over to the neutral buss bar and done! This is a 120/240 volt outlet, that will let you plug in amp amp racks, small drop boxes, etc.

Thanks for posting. I got boned at a mobile gig last week because they only had 2 adaptors for the spider and no electrician on site. I'm going to buy my own spider this week and include it in all off site rentals.

Can I run a 6 gauge 300 feet to a spider box then 10 gauge 100 feet to an RV? Any issues with that?

A little trick to save money on your feeder cables try a compere / RV supply the commentators you have shown are used in the industry and often it is less expensive to buy a cord set with the 50 amp twist to the 50 amp 4 prong from them it is the cord used on the big RVs.

I have a question on the 30amp cable you made? Is this a Output, to go to another power box? Or is a Input, to use receptacles in box, how many receptacles does have for 30amps? Thanks anything would help.

where do you get AC to feed this power distributor like from parks on live events from where what AMPS should be the breaker where u are getting AC

We use these all the time at the TV station I work for. Mainly on our big Christmas parade when we do a huge live remote broadcast with 20k lights and multiple robotic Jib cams and stage lights for news anchors. We also use them on our big 10k race and NASCAR races with ESPN and other sports groups for big satellite uplink broadcast. These type of distro boxes work great for us all the time when we plug up to big movie set "silent" diesel generators.
