St. Maria Goretti

I’m a Protestant/evangelical youth pastor, and I’m currently discerning the Catholic Church and its doctrines. I would appreciate any and all prayers for Christ’s wisdom and encouragement during this time. I have a wife and two children to lead to the best of my abilities in Jesus’ name and according to His Gospel. I just want the Truth.

It was because of this saint that I had my conversion. I was finally able to forgive people who wronged me, which led my heart to be free to encounter Jesus. To thank her, I took her on as my confirmation saint. She’s my favorite heavenly friend. St. Maria Goretti, pray for us!

I was avoiding this video in my feed and now I know why... I cried harder than I have in some time. All praise and glory to God for His Love and Divine Mercy. That we may be filled by Him and overflow such love and mercy to all. St. Maria Goretti, pray for us.

Thank you so much for this story of this Blessed Saint. I was recently diagnosed with a malignant tumor in my abdomen. It was removed on June 26 of this year. I pray and hope in Christ it doesn't return. When I was diagnosed I wept and could not forgive myself for my past sins. I thought my Sickness was my punishment. I finally realized my worst sin was not trusting in Christ grace and forgiveness. His suffering on the cross covers and gives mercy to us all. I needed to hear this message. Blessings please pray for my total healing in Christ. Blessings!

I am nearly 54 years of age and until today I was one time in the House were Saint Maria Goretti was born ( Corinaldo ) and four times in the House of her Martyrdom. Saint Maria Goretti makes me think about it to become a Priest himself. Saint Maria Goretti pray for us.....and for me and others to which have the wish and feel God's calling for Priesthood !!!!!!!
