How to Start a Blog in 2023 | By Sophia Lee

This has truly become my blogging video to film! 🎉 What are your blogging goals for 2023?

I love your videos. And I LOVE the fact that you don't have ANY music in the background of your videos at all. You don't understand how revolutionary that is. So many Youtubers have background music while they're talking and it makes it hard to focus on what they're saying. I'm not stupid. I know how to play my own instrumental music whilst I'm watching your video, if I want to. But mostly I actually don't want to listen to any background music whilst I'm listening to what you're saying. And you give us that choice. So important.

I started my blog last year and have been dragging my feet on getting it up and running. I recently saw an article about your house flip and had no idea that you were in my area. I’m motivated again to get it going! Thanks for lighting a fire in me again.

I had been building my blog for 1 year theny computer decided to die, which held me back so much thankfully I was done building the blog but was creating my newsletter and setting up the framework for my Pinterest. For over a year I've been watching all Sofia's video and they are extremely helpful! I bought a new computer and I'm back at it again going to launch in a few days.

I set up my domain and blog name over 2 years ago and haven't done anything on it ever since; when I first got introduced by a friend to your first YouTube video on starting a blog. I'm excited to have found your actual blogging YouTube page, and to get back on creating my page, getting it published and being committed to getting things done (with the help of your planners too!) Also, super inspired by your story and your other work! I am thanking you in advance!💞

Could you please add to this what legal protections people should have in place when starting their blog right off the bat? And how do we implement those protections on our website, etc. Thank you!

Yay so I just watched your new video you dropped this week on your 23% sale of your course and I bought the blogging and Pinterest Bundle and it save me 51. Some dollars girly, thank you thank you thank you. I am soooooo excited as I got my blog back as bluehost had a glitch I guess like in Oct and had to call 5 times and just got it back 2 days before Christmas and I am sooooo happy but I am also thankful because my entire blog was reset so I am starting over and what better timing in my eyes than now since I am going to do your course first while I’m building my new blog as my last blog I could not figure it out and all since my last stroke which is now my 3rd stroke in 3 years so I have a memory and I get block brain I call it because I get so confused and I’m always trying to work either 3times harder to remember or get it right or I have to take courses so I understand better as I feel like a game with glitch issues. Lol. Nah it’s alright I have figured it out on how I can live a average humble life and I want to blog because I am a disabled stay at home mama and my blog gives me a sense of motivation and fulfillment in life and I suffer from seasonal depression too so this is something I can focus on when I am, having a hard day and need to take my focus off my adhd ocd brain and just build my blog that is giving me happiness snd fulfillment. Since you started YouTube I have been subscribed since day 1 of your start date. I appreciate your videos more tha. I could ever explain. You have helped me now build something of my own that isn’t something geared toward my disability or controlled by it, I control this and that’s what makes me feel like yessss I am going far and I’m also a mama of 2 teens 12 & 14 years old so busy there too with sports and school stuff plus my kiddos both have mental health things too plus they both have adhd but my 12 years old son has it realllllllly bad the worst I’ve ever seen and both my sons have Tourette’s Syndrome and my 14 year old son has moderate schizophrenia so we’ve had quite a bit of struggles with that and have finally gotten it under control and they both have severe anxiety and depression plus my 12 year has mild to moderate OCD and my 14 year just very very mild OCD. So with allllll of that going on with me and my little family plus me and my hubby have been together since high school and now married since 2007 so like 15 years we’ve been married at 20 years together I’m total which isn’t really heard of in todays world as everyone hears about Kim K and how she says Marriage doesn’t have to be longer than 72 hours or more than 2 like years but I am old school and believe my husband is my true soul mate and he feels the same and he always says as I always worry my health issues which is a lot to handle a lot of the time but like my hubs says we took vows and I meant when I said tell death do us part in sickness and I’m health and see that’s why my husband is the true half of my soul. The day I met my husband at work on my first day I remember that day like it was yesterday gal and btw congratulations on your upcoming wedding and trust me it feels so much better and different when you get married and by that I mean you’ll feel safe and complete. Best of wishes for your wedding and life together and hopefully one day some kiddos and btw don’t let family tell you when to have them babies that happened to us and now they never even come over to see them but doesn’t matter because having our kiddos was the BEST MOST AMAZING DECISION WE EVER MADE TOGETHER AS A FAMILY MEANING ME AND MY HUSBAND.
