Bobotie is a South African dish we eat quite often. But we definitely do not add it to Mac and Cheese lol. You said potjie pot perfectly!.🇿🇦

Baobab is a superfood! It has a tangy, citrusy flavor. The pods dry while they are on the tree, drop to the ground, and when you crack it open you can crush it into a powder. It has some of the most antioxidants of any food!! I add it to my water or lemonade, etc and its soooo tasty. I bet it was good in that butter.

My bf and I experienced jikos when we were castmembers way back in 2006-2007. And it was splendidly amazing. Delicious food. It’s one of the top restaurants in the world 🌎

We ate at Jiko and it wasn't just a fluke. I had the same reaction as you to the fillet and mac and cheese. I think we would have been better off getting anything else on the menu.

lol I’m glad you checked as I didn’t remember flamingos ever lol ! I loved the appetisers and the desserts at Jiko! I was disappointed with the main course last time we dined there! The lion king menu was my favourite! I loved the wine tasting that they used to do on Wednesday! Thanks for doing this x

I love Jiko! And the butter is goat cheese butter which I think is why you’re saying it’s sour… soooo good. But I love goat cheese.
