My favorite hack is using a vegetable peeler on a block/chunk of parmesan. It gets thin little pieces that are great as snacks, on salads, or to top your pasta.

7:42 they actually do this because there's usually 1-2 large chip bins that are pretty much constantly sprinkled with salt, so unsalted chips are fresh out of the oil as any chip in the bin will have some collected salt

There are some that are not hacks but that's the way it is done, one of them is making ice cream with ice cubes and salt, we in Asia, especially in SEA, actually make and sell traditional ice cream like that, using ice cubes and salt and then selling it by bicycle or motorbike, it's a natural coolant.

Another way to peel lots of garlic at once is to soak it in boiling water for 1 minute, strain it, and the skin comes off so easily and it isn’t as much of a hassle👍🏼

I love putting hash browns in a waffle iron. If you want to add a little something extra mix the hash browns with some sour cream, cheddar cheese and green onions. So damn good. Just be sure to grease the iron very well after each one is finished.
