  • cool guy. When this car was launched in Brazil in 1992 it was a rage, everyone wanted one, it had a GLS and CD version with a 2.0 engine with 116 horsepower and a 3.0 engine with 165 horsepower.

C20NE was such a reliable engine, and non interference, so when cambelt snapped, you did not damage any component, put new belt on, and you are good to go!

90's cars were the best era for cars. Pretty advanced for its time, yet still easy to fix. Cant do much on the new stuff by your self.

Sweet memories of my 1.8 GL sedan steel gray. A car that I remember with particular affection for its incredible design, quality, simplicity and comfort. Among the few problems I had, the video reminded me of a strange defect in the heated rear window: after 7/8 minutes of switching on, the fuse box started to smell of burning and since the operating time was around 15 minutes without possibility of turning off, I had to turn off the engine and start it again. Once again thanks for the video!

Here in Brazil this car is called omega suprema it is an icon here in Brazil, here in Brazil this car came with the 2.0 and 4.1 engine, this is a car that I would like to see you bring back to life, a hug from Brazil

Шальная тачанка, спасибо, что оживили! Флексини делают больше для экологии, чем все соевые смузихлебы, приклеивающие ладошки к асфальту. Подымают из небытия механику. Будь как Флексини, не бойся ничего, и учи матчасть.

I wonder if previous owners see these videos and say "You got my car running again, can i buy it back?" 😊 Great job getting this Opel back running and driving again! 👍👍

Here in Brazil we had it too, hahaha. It's called GM Omega Suprema, with 2.0 engines, 2.2 from the Brazilian Vectra B, 3.0 6 cylinders and 4.1 from our GM Opala / GM Caravan, only injected from the factory

Всегда отличные сокровища,Автор благодарю Вас за Ваш труд
  • Except from rust this Opels were bulletproof, especially with petrol engines. Nice video!

This video brings back distant memories that I didn't know I had. Every exterior detail, the positioning of every switch on the dash. I grew up in one of these, so nostalgic. It's porbably a cliche, but they really don't make them like this no more.
  • Ômega suprema nos anos 90 foi o carro mais caro aqui do Brasil puro luxo este carro

Had two of these in my family when I was kid in the mid 90's, sedans tho. Father absolutely loved these things, and I remember all the long trips we did on the summer in these.

Sold as a Vauxhall Carlton here in Britain, it was a rival to the similar sized Ford Granada/Scorpio of the day, with popularity roughly split down the middle. I’m a Ford fan but I personally really like the Carlton/Omega A, it was certainly a better looking car than the blob-like Granada Mk3 which basically resembled a Sierra in a fat suit.
