It seems that a lot of people worry about finding glasses for your face shape. But in fact, glasses and face shape do not play a huge role in finding the best eyeglasses for you. However, it is an easy way to start.
When it comes to the best glasses for face shape, the key is to select glasses that have the opposite features to your face shape. So if you are looking for glasses for a round face, finding eyeglasses that have more angles and a boxy style appearance will work better. While if you are looking for glasses for a square face, round glasses or something with a round shape will better compliment your facial features.
If you are looking for glasses for an oval face, thankfully almost any glasses frame should work.

*PRO TIP*
No matter where you buy your glasses it is always best to have them professionally adjusted to improve their fit and comfort. It will help you see better too.

If you are looking to purchase online glasses, it is important to continue seeing your eye doctor yearly for eye health evaluations. Although you may be seeing well, many eye diseases may creep up without affecting your eyesight until it's too late.

Eye care and tips are so needed. The eyes and teeth seem most neglected from medical insurance. Thanks for all the videos. It sure helps me to advocate for myself.

I'm watching this after buying my glasses online, and you literally nailed almost all the problems that I have with these new frames because I did the opposite. Wow, someone who actually knows what they're talking about, thanks for the tips - it is seriously helpful. I just got a refund and ordered ones that I'm sure will fit well now.
  • @kryptxn706
I should've watched this before buying smh

The facial width and nose bridge shape are very important points and especially for people with very large or very small skulls this can mean the difference between a pair of glasses that fit and a pair of glasses that don't fit. The other major factor in latitudes with temperature extremes like the Northern US is metal frames expand and contract with temperature. This can cause most metal glasses to need adjustment to account for the change in size of the metal frames.

I had no idea, never even noticed there were numbers on the frames. Thanks for the advice!

see, I'm not really that interested in which glasses look good on whom or contacts or anything like that, but this guy's camera prescence and presentation skills are second to none
  • @juliac8689
I had no idea what the numbers on the frame stem meant, now I do! Thanks for a great video!

To discover your facial shape, stand in front of the mirror & draw the outline carefully with a bar of soap or lipstick/gloss. Thank you for the great info!!

I’m watching this the day AFTER I chose my next pair of glasses. I’ve been wearing them for 13 years and can happily say I already do what you recommend. Also, I have only just found your channel and love it! Subscribed for sure. Very helpful information as I genuinely sometimes have no clue what my optometrist is talking about. Thank you!
  • @joywebster2678
When u are blind without your glasses then they want you to look at frames when u can't see much
  • @plana4703
Wow I was about to order my new glasses but wasn't sure if they would look good on me. And then this vid popped up on my feed 😂
  • @aeislugh
You put into words here why I've always avoided the frames that sit directly on my nose! I do not have a prominent nose ridge, and those type of frames always annoyed the crap out of me!
  • @Sasha-tm8qy
As someone with a round face, square glasses definitely don't fit me. I've been wearing these for like 6 years but then I tried round glasses and man it makes me look way better! Thanks for this video though my case is just an exception :)
  • @LauraC-hq7sm
He's such a nice man I could watch his videos all day.

It's hard to tell what shape my face is because of how intricate our skulls are designed, but when I really focused the other day I seem to be somewhere around the square/rectangle side. I didn't know what I was doing at the eye doctor but I really liked the circle framed glasses on me. Luckily I ended up being correct
