Everybody talks Inarius / Lilith here, but look how badass these humans were holding the line against hell!
  • @gabip4507
Man, that army was doing such a fine job before Inarius fell
  • @Darkko.
How the fuck did they manage to create such a realistic look in Lilith's eyes when she said 'And our son?' You can genuinely feel the sadness and pain in a demon's eye.

The Angel design in Diablo is so great.
  • @myne5689
Angels really need to find a new blacksmith to craft their spears

I just hope that the team that made this gets the recognition that they deserve. This was 10 out of 10 absolute perfection.

This cutscene gave me chills especially when Inarius calls to the heavens and is met with silence. His madness is truly felt through the performance. I just wish there were more cutscenes and boss battles in the game. Cue many expansions.

Inarius' dying scream chilled me to the bone. He was probably in a huge amount of physical pain, but that was a scream of absolute despair from a damned soul no longer able to deny the truth of Lilith's words' and truly grappling with the knowledge of its ruin for the first time.

I know Inarius is a A-hole but it broke my heart to see him almost crying and screaming for protection and the way he just melts away like that. this is top-notch cinematic

I think, deep down, Lilith didn't want to kill Inarius and still hoped they'd live in Sanctuary together. Until he killed Rathma and said he did it to satisfy the Heavens. That was the last straw.

I love the part where Lilith asks Inarius about their son, the voice actress and animators did so well imparting some really human qualities to a demon from hell
  • When Lilith say's 4:36 "And our son?" Then sighs after Inarius's expected answer, you know you have a true sympathetic, flawed but powerful Mother villain. Pawns or not in her scheme to claim Hatred's essence, she had a form of love for Rathma and the world they originally created. She just couldn't get a stubborn Angel by nature to accept what they have done together. Truly a great tragic end and realization that he was beyond redemption, which made it oh so much better.

This is possibly the greatest video game cinematic ever produced (IMO) Blizzard needs to just make a diablo movie at this point just like this
  • @BauerHouse
the writing and voice acting for Lilith was 11/10. So was the animation. So great.

Playing the campaign in Diablo 4 was such a pleasure, wonderful story to keep in memory
  • @BlizzPort
Those Prava legionaries are badass. Fearless and unbeatable in their blind faith. Problem became when they lost faith. If Inarius just floated above, they'd kill everything in this cinematic.
  • @sdgcx
When Inarius told Lilith he killed their son to satisfy the heavens, she asked "tell me...did they rejoice? No?" Oof!! the voice actor and actress in this scene understood the assignment
  • @wvguy7238
Liliths speech hit me as feeling her justification. "What about our son?" "We made a choice". "i gave you free will". Poor Lilith.
  • @sytherax1
Such an epic scene, the entrance of Inarius was badass just appearing, then floating down in the middle of all those demons like they didn't exist. And Lilith so graceful and laid back.
