I'm not afraid of aging anymore if this is what it's gonna be like. Thank you, kind, kind woman. I struggle with that.
  • I am an 84 year old man... still working full time. I forgotten i used to play guitar. Now you made me pick it up again! Thank you. You are God gift to all of us❤

Enjoying this so much . 70 years old here, trying to find out who I am after being a wife , mother , nurse , grandmother and great-grandmother . Now that I am widowed , retired , all the kids grown and the grands largely as well . Trying to reinvent me and I understand so much

This woman has given me confidence to start singing again. I am 78 years old now but in the past I composed several songs and sung them in different venues and these were made into four albums. Sadly, I haven’t sung for around 20 years having been overwhelmed by other things. People I used to know ask me why I don’t sing anymore. So it’s never too late to get the old vocal cords polished up! Thank you!

I'm 65. Still playing trumpet and trombone. I enjoy it. You must do things. Stay active. Find purpose. Aging is not for sissies. Stay in your faith and tell your family you love them often.

Profound thought. Now in my 70's, I have transformed from controlling, judgemental, anxious, and more to learn to be who I was meant to be. The revelation came when I began to allow God to do the work instead of trying to do it myself. My Bible and the fellowship and prayer of those on the same path are all that is needed. Much grace and many blessings. Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun in you a good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. Phil. 1:6 For to me, to live is Christ...Phillipians 1:21a

You are wonderful. I'm 74 and have just discovered I have a gift as an artist and now I can't stop and have been painting every day for six months. I'm colour blind but it doesn't matter.

There’s a part of you that’s free There’s a part of you in chains While you’re here on your way back home, life is your own Oh there are some things that you’ve got to see And there are some places you’ve got to go KEEP GOING While you’re here, on your way back home Choices are your own The only hero you will find is a common man Or the one living in your mind And after all of this is said and done It’s you you’re trying to find The only clue is love The only tool is learning that While you’re here, on your way back home Really not alone The only hero you will find is a common man Or the one living in your mind And after all of this is said and done Well it’s you you’re trying to find.. Huh, the only clue is love The only tool is learning that While you’re here, on your way back home, really not alone While you’re here, on your way back home, not alone

My cat had passed away tonight, this song made me sob and be glad she’s in a better place. Thank you.

Beautiful. After I lost my husband in 2015 I had to get away. I decided to move to Panama Central America. It was the best thing I could have done to deal with my grief. I was down there for about 4 years. They had a saying that Panama was a place to reinvent yourself. I loved it. Now I live in Missouri. I love my life here. I'm 70 now and not looking back. Oh and by the way I'm from GA too. Keep blessing us with your music.
  • I'm from St.Petersburg, Russia, 47 years old. Listening for this song and crying. Thank you for your beautiful voice and guitar. The world is still one.
  • I have alot of issues with YouTube's algorithm, but sometimes it sends me gems like this that I wouldn't have found otherwise and I'm really grateful for that
  • 31 years old and profoundly disabled here. It gives me a lot of time to meditate and listen to music like this. I feel I am learning a lot of beautiful, hard, God-sent lessons that most people don’t learn until they are old. About who I am, and what my purpose on this earth is. Life is a gift and we each must do the best we can with it. Love whenever you get the chance. You are perfect as you are.
  • I'm hitting a major age milestone this year. Within the past 10 years, I have separated myself from a toxic narcissistic family and escaped a violent marriage. And "at my age" I was afraid that I got old without noticing and that my life was over without ever having actually begun. I have been so blessed to realize that that simply isn't the case. I have moved across the country, found work in one of the most beautiful places on earth, built a home, and have traveled to several continents. I'm in the process of reinventing myself yet again, but this time, not out of fear or desperation, but out of joy and a sense of adventure. Eat right, exercise, use your brain and your talents daily. Then getting old will take longer and won't be nearly as terrifying.

My sister passed away February 19, she was only 29 and my best friend. When I can’t fall asleep, I listen to this. Thank you

“The only hero you will find is a common man.” That’s great songwriting.

I am a 78 year old widow , I enjoy your channel. Your a blessing. I live in Colorado with my daughter and special need grand daughter. I am going through adapting to being the last one in my family. My brother and sister both are with the Lord and all my friends have passed away. I am trying to adapt and change to all of these feelings I am having.
  • I left what was home at age 55 and went 3000 miles west. I left California when I was 72. I found home in the rolling hills of Virginia. Turns out I had ancestors from the same town. I love your music. I'm an artist so traveling was important to me. I have learned to live my dreams with very little money. You just have to be brave.
