"I had no fear of death. But I was afraid to die without dignity." Man, that's deep.
  • @Lalsdragon
A friend of mine is a family lawyer. She said something to me that has stuck: "It is a LEGAL system. NOT a justice system."

Please declare Sunny's smile as national treasure. She's so strong, been through a lot of crap but still able to smile with such intensity.

For all those saying it’s a “waste of resources” to keep inmates in prison for life, you may be surprised to learn it’s actually MORE expensive to put a prisoner to death.
  • “I had to hold the kids down until the shooting stoped” “they had to decide if they had to kill me there or take me in” “i was sentenced to death” “they decided to go on vacation to see me” “the plane unfortunately crashed” “then when jesse was executed the electric chair malfunctioned they said flames shot out of his head”... oh my god can this woman can get enough.
  • Just imagine all the innocent people who aren’t released. It’s disgusting
  • I heard of a story of an 11 year old boy that went to jail for 7 years because, without good evidence, because his stepmother was murdered. He was released at the age of 18, found not guilty. He lost all of his childhood and didn’t get an education because the people on his case didn’t look for more evidence. They haven’t found the murderer.

I think it's so cool that sunny and peter found each other after what they went through. They seem like kindred souls the way they both did yoga and internalized their own peace and found that strength, and then both embraced nature as soon as they were free. They're so sweet.

she is so fucking strong. i can’t imagine being wrongfully incarcerated, on death row and in solitary for years and then losing your parents so tragically at the first point of relief and her husbands wrongful death in the worst fucking way
  • @Neliel97
I almost cried when he talked about how the apple tree grew throughout his incarceration. This is why I'm against the death penalty, not only for the innocent who are incarcerated, but also is the easy way out for the cops and the actual criminals (murderers, rapists, like actual crimes) who won't regret their actions

"Peter did you have faith in the justice system at that time?" "No." A legend.
  • spending a day with drug dealer’s kids. Kids hear and see everything and I feel it is a topic not a lot of people hear about edit: Wow! Thanks for all the comments and likes. Like myself, most kids growing up like that tends to develop PTSD and other mental illnesses. Their stories definitely deserve to be heard !!
  • Peters stories were remarkable. The story with the tree amazed me. Peter was a kind soul. For those that don't know, peter passed away on 12/31/22. RIP to a legend. My heart goes out to the rest of his family and sunny. Amazing video Anthony.
  • "I was one of the most dangerous men they ever held because I cared about other men." Words to live by
  • When Sunny is talking about Jesse and you just see Peter’s hand on her shoulder 🥺 bless him
  • @Darinadon
It's so heart-warming to hear that Sunny's friends went above and beyond to save her. These are some true friends.
  • @_rat_5758
Wow. Sunny’s story is insane. She’s so unbelievably strong I don’t even have words
