This is art in its truest. It no longer becomes a song to listen to, rather a story you want to connect to.

He has so many more songs that will make you cry 1. Staring through my rearview mirror. 2. My block 3. Who do you bellive in 4. Pour out a lil liquor 5. Keep your head up 6. So many tears 7. Pacs life
  • Tupac is great because no one can tell a story better them him, when he raps you feel like your there with him.

The music being sampled is Sadie by the Spinners. Which was a tribute to grandmothers everywhere.
  • an interesting thing about tupac’s music is that there were, essentially, two-pacs. he had conscious and uplifting music like Dear Mama but also the player and gangsta-type rap. He was extremely talented in doing both.

even seeing this reaction i teared up, great song great artist great reaction
  • @calmnrelaxed
Good reaction...but it's the Spinners, not the Commodores or Roger Troutman. The Spinners released a song called, "Sadie" in 1974 and this song seems to have sampled it.
  • 0:41: In the part you are singing, that interpolates Bruce Hornsby and The Ram's "The Way It Is, "a song my father loves. (If you enjoyed that, then you might like Polo G's "Wishin For A Hero," which I like to call a "modern-day version of Changes." (he is completely aware of the Tupac comparisons)

It’s a rap song not a blues or jazz. Appreciate it for what it is.
