Four years in and no flats - plenty of nicks and cuts but not a single puncture in over 5000 miles on two bikes. I take my repair kit for other riders these days but my friends are slowly changing over to them.

I have Schwalbe Road Cruisers 32c and I haven't been able to get a flat either. Not only awesome tires with low resistance and good protection but they ain't expensive either

Thank you for sharing your experience.

just today i had two of these installed on my everyday bike. (also have a fair weather Ebike and Escooter). For the last two years i had a different type of tire on the bike. Never had so many damn flats. Like every two weeks. I had Marathons before and like everyone else, i went for months and months without a flat. I was even using some of that fix-a-flat slime in the old tires. Worked for a few weeks but always eventually failed. Last week got a puncture in the front and while it got sealed, i got a geyser of green slime blowing out the front tire every time it rolled around. Sounded like someone was using a paint gun. (my face, glasses, jacket and pants covered in green slime spots) so that was it for that, back to the marathons.

I use the marathon PLUS myself. I've removed small pieces of glas many times. I've marathon PLUS on my bike for 9 month. I've never had a flat tire. I pump it up to a pressure of 5,5 bars (80 PSI). The max is 85 PSI (6 Bar). The only difference; My tires are 37mm thick. I see that your tires are 25mm thick.

Agree, have them on my road bike and gravel bike

I was so tired of repairing punctures, so I bought puncture-free bicycle tires. Costs a little more, but never more punctures. Sweden.

i cycled through 5 countries in 2018, Germany, Luxembourg, France and Switzerland in about a week and a half. i never had a single flat tyre or issue with these tyres.. im still using the very same set of tyres today

To me punctures can be very dangerous, first and foremost. not to mention annoying secondly. I ordered a pair for touring on my 26" mtb and I'm hoping they live up to the hype. I'm confident they will. Thanks for the video

900g lol, basically an enduro tire. Been using a tubeless setup for years now, not a single issue. Just a day off for maintenance every 3-4 months.

Looking to get the e-plus 29" version of this for my road communte on my emtb. It's currently fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam from factory new.
-
Have you ridden them in Winter conditions? But I mean like a dry Winter, i.e. no snow, low temps, between -5C up to +5C, where you can get some icy roads and cycle pathways. Thnx.
-
They're stiff, heavy and slow and still I love'm .. 20.000+ Km already before I had my first flat. Did yo ever try the trekking version? (a bit more grip for when offroad).

Mine got punctured after two weeks with a small stone in Sweden.

How do thorn resistant tubes with thicker outer sides fare? Cons? How is the rolling resistance compared to regular road bike tires or slick gravel tires like pathfinder
-
900g for a 25mm tire? Dannnng. In the 90's anything over 200g I thought was junk, haha. Now I'm old and am still trying to wrap my head around fatter tires in the 700g range, lol.

So, I know you won’t be winning races with these, but is the rolling resistance really that severely hampered? You’ve got an expensive, high end pinarello, I see, so the weight and efficient drivetrain should let you keep at a respectable clip, but I was thinking to get these for my city bike, which is just basic, heavy and not as efficient. I do want flat resistance, but I also don’t want to feel like I’m riding a mountain bike on the road

Can these tires be used for Rail trails?
-
What tube do you use?
-
Are these tubeless or tube tires?
