Yo, ok, look. This was my first time ever hearing K-Pop. Literally ever. And I was completely not expecting it to sound like this whatsoever. BLACKPINK absolutely nailed this. I have no other way of saying it.

  • @mrpiggy4031
Finally a reactor who noticed the "bring out the boss b!tch" part.
  • @KinshinReaper
"Sorry I just got hype as shit" is probably one of my favorite things someone has said
  • "This is the first time I hear KPop" And you choosen Blackpink! Yes you picked the right group and the right song!!!
  • @gideonartistry
Blackpink is the world's biggest girl group. 🔥 Checkout "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du". Its a legendary song.
  • @Robin0327
LISAAAAA is insane. They're all badass queens tho.
  • Also, as a bilingual speaker. When you translate songs (and like most translations) you are not translating word by word but almost rewriting with interpretation of the person translating. Sometime entire phrases get changed with one that means the same things but its worded entirely different. So yeah, you don’t direct translate songs but you remake it and find ways to make it rhyme with a similar meaning adapted not only for the language but the target culture as well.
  • @caspasaur
Not all kpop is like this 😆 Blackpink does have more songs just like this, Ddududdudu and pretty savage are also insanely good hype songs!
  • @blinkot4221
Thats blackpink for you. Good choice for choosing blackpink as a starter. React to more blackpink pleaseeeee!!!!!
  • @blinkstay8695
In my opinion, How you like that should be the song to be representing kpop. That song is the definition of perfection. The song, instrumentals, production, set, outfit and of course their vocals. Everything is just perfect
  • @mrpiggy4031
"I always see korean people dancing as replies to a very serious tweet" PLS NOT THE FANCAMS LMAOOOO 😂
  • @joon7552
Blackpink is the best way to start with kpop, they're hip-hop af. Check out more of their songs, lots of surprise incoming !
  • @kmelloo377
bro, having blackpink as the intro of kpop is just the perfect way to get into it
  • Mad respect for this man he KNOWS what's going on when Lisa make the rap like he eat rap everyday this isn't a nobody reaction.
  • @eb4771
Lisa is the rapper make sure check out their other songs. Also Lisa’s english raps
  • @SKyLar55
The grammar and sentence structure in Korean is often very different than in English, so the ‘matching’ words don’t often match up. It’s another reason why kpop lyrics can be very impressive. The writers (who are often the artists themselves) put a lot of effort into the bilingual lyrics, so they not only make sense, but also rhyme and flow with the rest of the song.
  • @amar2949
Their new album "The album" it's a bop tho
  • i swear i like rewatching this reaction, since it reminds me of my first reaction to kpop. It was also HYLT. I felt speechless.
