  • Airline: We're sorry sir, but your carry on is too heavy to take on the plane...You'll have to check it in (for a fee), which is going on the same plane." 🤦

Wear a multi-pocket vest and fill it with heavy items. Once you’re in the airplane, you can transfer those heavy items back into your carry on luggage.

Not true according to UAL own website for 2024. Carry on dimensions listed are still 22"x14"x9" same as they have been. Same thing for personal item dimensions.

I’ve had airlines steal things from my checked luggage. Yes, it was Spirt! Never again. One time stupidly.🤦🏽‍♀️

It’s annoying that you say in the video, “lithium batteries over a certain wattage are prohibited” but you don’t say what that wattage is.

This why you check in before you come in. You can avoid the desk and not worry. And then you can check it at the gate if needed.

I flew Alaska this week. They are it enforcing the dimensions! Enforce the rules. I saw a lot of people with huge suitcases that did not fit in the sample dimension container! Is frustrating because they keep begging people to volunteer checking in their bags so there is no motivation to comply.
  • Be aware of changed airline rules. Never assume. Don’t get smart mouthed with security, they are there to do a job. Dress appropriately for the country you are visiting, what is okay for your country, may not be in theirs, do your research, cultures differ. Double check on whether visas are needed, whilst you can get them online, some may take 24hrs to process. Remember it’s not just about buying the ticket, having a passport and packing luggage, these days there are many other things to consider. Use a list & ✅

purse = handbag. Helpful if measures were listed in metric as this is the international norm. Thanks

Medications, etc. should be in personal item in case your bag gets gate-checked.

One issue though , not all so called window seats are ACTUALLY window seat . So they really need to make it clear where those seats are on the plane.

What is the difference.I have never seen any one checked size of carryon. I hadidea why they allowed guitar onboard.

What is the limit on inaccuracies? I think this piece exceeds those limits. What is true, is pretty inane. You can do better - and should.

So everyone who bought 21 inch bags that were correct now are forced to buy more suit cases

You should have been doing it years ago but you let it keep doing it and doing it. I can understand for a baby or some one who has or needs help. But these woman and men to a lesser extent are at it all all the time and sometimes there isn't room for a small bag of passports tickets etc.

Yes, crackdown even harder. Don't travel with so much crap.
