This is my new favorite performance. Had no idea The Verve was so badass when they first started. I missed out but better late than never.

"Already There" is one of the rare videos on YouTube which has zero dislikes. (Look up all the other live versions and you'll notice.) It's because the Verve connects the listener with such a spiritual depth and mystical energy in this song. The greatest song Richard Ashcroft and Nick McCabe ever wrote.

If only we would have got more music like this rather than McCabe minimised and stadium rock. Urban Hymns is a great album but Storm in Heaven is something more than music, it's emotion, artistic, abstract bliss
