Technique Tuesday - Watercolour Background using Glycerin

Join me for my next Technique Tuesday tutorial - today I show you two techniques to create a pretty background for your projects. First adding Glycerin to your watercolour pens to allow them to blend onto paper, then adding cling wrap with gold shimmer spray to create a beautiful marbling effect.

    Fantastic idea. I have never purchased oxide inks because I didn't think I'd use them very often. However, I have got glycerine and pens, so I can't wait to give this a go. Thanks very much for your video.

  • Hi Jan, I only found you this morning, love the idea of the glycerin with the oxide inks,great idea for making an easy wipe clean palette too, oh and using a tiny block to ‘tear’ of your double sided tape, so many useful ideas ☺️ thank you so much and I’ve subscribed too. Cling film here in Australia is mostly called Glad wrap (brand name) or if you buy the Aldi brand Cling wrap 🙄 so many names for it! Anyway thank you. Sandy 🌸
