Welp.. After rebuilding far too many Porsche 911's it was time to find ourselves a matching daily driver at the salvage auction! I settled on a 2018 Macan GTS with a CRAZY options list, a $96,000 MSRP, finished in a sick paint to sample color called black grey!

I was able to buy it for nearly $70k off MSRP, but I might have underestimated the Porsche tax I was in for...

Have a Salvage Porsche Rebuild story of your own? Maybe you've bought a Trashed Porsche to turn into your dream car? Be sure to tell the story in the comments!

Hey Siri, has anyone put a hellcat engine in a Macan before?

I like this format a lot. Thanks for putting the whole build in 1 video. Most car channels leave you on a cliffhanger and rarely even return to the same car leaving people wondering what happened with it. This method of filming is much more satisfying.

Pssst I am a Porsche tech if you ever need any instructions or info just ask! Also the grille you have is incorrect it blocks the ACC sensor there is a different one with a cut out for the ACC sensor. Other than that nothing more than a classic Porsche build! Lots of trips to the parts department for sure haha. Great work and I can’t wait to watch more!

This is some quality content. I love when a project is completed in one video

OMGosh the pic on side road with trees full of snow looked like a Porsche Advertisement. Thanks for awesome video guys

I love when a project is completed in one video

LOVE the way this turned out BUT I gotta be honest... I'm surprised you didn't swap the exhaust, flash the ecu, put new air intakes from flat6 and new wheels. Even as a daily driver, it deserves some upgrades! Bring on that video!!

Enjoyed the rebuild. Pretty cool to see this cause most people only see the big parts and not all the small stuff that's needed to complete the build

I am so thankful you put everything in one episode instead of drawing out these parts order breaks into 10 different episodes. I know it probably costs you clicks and plays but it’s a much better viewing experience. Love your channel! I’m about to buy a Macan turbo, so thanks to this video I’ll try not to take out the front end ever. Also, what a great optioned car you found!! Love everything about it.

Fernando's Gangsta lean on point rippin' the Macan!
  • Make sure you get the correct center grill for the front bumper, because you have the adaptive cruise control, the grill in front of the sensor should be different, it should have an opening. And curious to know if the car was equipped with 360° cameras? Because the front camera should be above the sensor for the adaptive cruise control. Check under the side mirrors to see if they have parking cameras there. If so, you need the front camera also.

I bought a salvage 08' Cayenne Base 3.6 VR6 with a 6sp MT, and rebuilt it as well. Didn't spend nearly as much as you did but ended up only being $2K in the green. I like the car, so I'm keeping it. Love your channel! Keep it going! You're saving the planet from wreckage yards and metal melting.

Love the fact that you contained the build in one video. Well done as always

I just discovered this channel a few days ago and have been binge-watching you guys ever since. As a crossover SUV guy myself who is loyal to the two cars that started it all, the Porsche Cayenne and the Infiniti FX35, I can say this is one of my favorite videos of them all. I totally understood what the feeling is like as you drove that luxury monster with all the tech for the first time. If you ever came across any salvaged Infiniti FX35 or FX50's (later branded QX70 with only a few 5.0s made as the QX), I would love to see what you could do with one of those! The Infiniti FX/QX community is huge and parts are not hard to find especially since it shares so many with the Nissan 350z and the many JDM import motors/transmissions available.

I thought y'all should know, your uploads keep me watching and not just playing in the background. I appreciate the quality and the energy from y'all is awesome.

I enjoyed watching you guys fix something to it's original spec! Just like I told Dalt on his channel I really just enjoy watching anything and everything you guys upload overall so it's nice to see just about any kind of video in my opinion! But I first hand understand why you guys dont fix as many as you part out because unless it's for personal use those rebuilt titles are almost impossible to sell for a fraction of the price! Loved the video and the whole team, keep it up!
  • @diegogolfhotel
Congrats on the build! This is definitely my favorite car channel, its nice to see car videos that aren't 500 episodes long.
  • @JoeBananas3
Absolutely loved this build, easily one of my favorite on the channel!
