Ok, if Rich does not make the rounds to the other youtube golf channels, they are all missing out BIG TIME. What a guy! Easily the funniest golfer I've seen yet.

RGC has about 50-60 quotes they can put on shirts from this video. "you can build a walmart between those two shots" had me dying.
  • @johnnyhunter
UNDERDOG 👊 Beem: "He's tryin' to hit over the wind." 😆Hilarious concept for a video, btw. Would love to see more of these!
  • I didn't know who Rich Beem was. (Before my time). But man do I love him now!! That was SSSSOOOOOO entertaining. What a character... The ledgend of "The Sling King" will live on in my heart.

I was once hustled by my uncles friend at a course called Champion Lakes in Pennsylvania. I was no slouch, as I was currently playing division 1 at Robert Morrison U, and confident that I could keep up with any local player. However, on this day, I shot a 35 on the front, and this guy who my uncle brought, posted a bogey free 31. After our 9 concluded, my uncle asked me how it felt to get whooped by Rocco Mediate. I said “who is Rocco Mediate”. He just laughed and said “look him up on the internet”. I was only 21, and way too busy to keep up with the PGA Tour, so I wasn’t familiar with the respectively “lesser known” tour players. A couple years later, Rocco had his iconic showdown with Tiger Woods, and I just had a huge smile on my face the whole time. Still to this day, my favorite 9 holes of golf. Aside from all of the rounds I’ve played with my dad and grandpa. Very memorable. That was in 2006, and I still remember every shot. Rocco tore that course up. After the round, my uncle showed me Rocco’s course record plaque, and I think it was 62 or 63. You’d never tell he was a good player until he teed off on one. He had baggy pants, 4 different brands of clubs, a non-tour bag. Just looked like a 40 year old weekend warrior.

This was fantastic. “Erik- Is that a carbon fiber shaft on the iron? Rich-I don’t know, I won these off a guy.” That was a beauty of an answer.

This one is an absolute peach :) Kudos to Rich Beem for getting into such an entertaining character for this. Just great fun. Love it. :)

    “It looks like a drive…only shorter” 😂

"you can build a Walmart in between those two tee shots" 😂😂😂

“It is me — the guy who beat Tiger in a major!” — “I knew all the time it was you, Vijay!”
  • @GTL77
The sling king baby 😂 this video had me laughing! I remember watching that match that he beat tiger woods
  • @davidgraham8058
‘Can we take strokes if we’re up in the match?’ ‘Fuck yeah we can take strokes’. 😂😂😂

5:00 "Like your typical 60-70 year old man swing" Literal major champ
  • @mattwestover320
Underdog, great video! “I got nothing to do and all day to do it” underrated quote from the video imo
  • @jacole1234
I just spit out my coffee at 43:04. "I like that a LOT, Jayden. YEAH! SIT ON IT!... I like that a lot!" I can't stop laughing. I wouldn't have let you finish the round in a clear headspace after that phrasing... it's what friends are for.

EAL, If I've said it once I have said it 100 times, you make the best golf videos that exist. I can't thank you enough for the way you present such informational, educational and just plain entertainment value videos on the game that has captivated me for the majority of my life. And for that, I thank you Sir.

The only PGA game I've ever attended. Sunday of the 2002 PGA championship at Hazeltine. My wife surprised me tickets for our anniversary. What an experience. We sat on the bleachers by the green at the 16th hole. Everyone had funneled to the 18th to see the end. I just did not want to fight through the mass of people. Cool to see Tiger birdie the 16th. He told Stevie: "Come on, we can still do this". He made a crazy run, but Rich bested him. I remember Rich making his little victory dance after his winning putt and for some reason commentators criticized him for it. Overall, an unforgettable day. Great to see RB again, brings back fond memories of that day. My wife, not in the least a golfer, had a blast also.

Fav to date. Great concept, great execution. Sling King Bobby: chef’s kiss on undercover boss w/ the hoodie, Ping persimmon, and Texas shit talk.
  • @TheRekindlers
That was great! I feel so honored that I got the chance to play with Beemer a few year back, at Mayakoba in Mexico. A day I will always remember.
