Probably one of the best traditional collections on YouTube loved watching these videos over the years

I wish there were more American companies like GEC going around. GEC can’t produce enough for the demand which is totally understandable. But they are so beautiful that I wish there were a few more people in the game

Watched all of it! You gotta do some resto videos. That’d be SHARP 🤘🏼

    Superbe collection Randy 👍🇺🇸🥂🇫🇷
  • Sharp collection. Yes I watched all the way to the end. 😊 I grew up in Texas carrying an “Eye Brand“ Carl Schlieper sodbuster jr and a Swiss Army knife in my pockets. Added in a Case and Kershaw and Schrade and Spyderco here and there over the years. Never really collected per se, just used them as tools. Always loved traditional knives after learning to use them and sharpen them properly as a kid by my dad and others. Hard to believe I only discovered GEC last year. We’re in a golden age now with more modern makers inspired and driven by GEC Quality.
  • Yeah I'm a big fan of the old slip joints. At 55 I think it has a whole lot to do with age. I can remember when there were very few locking knives at all. Really for a long time the was only the buck 110 and the case mako and the mako was so expensive none of us young guys could afford it in our teens but we all wanted one
  • Nice collection. I have a small switchblade collection. The reason I don’t have any slip joint knives is because I closed a blade on my knuckle when I was a young child. I was halfway between my house and my grandfather’s house and I could not make up my mind which house to run to for first aid.😊
  • Awesome video! Please keep the traditional knife videos coming. More folks need to slip a traditional knife in the pocket & fall in love with them as we have!

Great looking collection of knives. I love those case knives

Seeing your slipjoints over the years is what got me into slipjoints. I've since started my collections, and now I have a few TC's and Northwoods. Love the video!

Sharp, your collection is solid. Delrin, in my experience is durable, I've got an Old Timer (very old) that has taken what ever came its way. Sawcut is not what it used to be, other than that it good to go. Thanks,
  • I think you are the best pitcher to ever live. Glad i found your channel

Killer collection man, love the variety. I'm fairly similar in that I have a ton of variety and I also didn't set out to "build a collection"... I think for me I was looking for "the perfect" knife and then eventually came to the realization that there isn't ONE "perfect" knife to cover all things but instead there is a perfect knife for each of many different uses/scenarios/purposes. So I ended up finding my perfect whittling knife (and then my perfect compact whittling knife) and I found my perfect around-town people-friendly carry knife and I found my perfect hiking knife and then my perfect yard work knife and then my perfect emergency food-prep knife etc. etc. etc. Then I realize I have like 60 GECs, 20 Case knives and about 30 vintage pieces. I'm whittling a lot of those down slowly as I really focus on in my "perfect this" and "perfect that" knives though. But that is what I love about knives, you can find one that specializes in just about in particular knife need.

I heard the other day that you were back making videos. I was a sub years ago. Good to hear from you again, I always enjoyed your work. So I counted 26 sharp knives and a few more that did not count, in a beautiful collection. I remember being impressed that you used most of them too. Thank you for showing your traditionals which are the only folding knives that I am interested. I'll start catching upon your videos.
  • Sharp, LaRock made not far from my home. Love your collection, just started my collection by accident 8 yrs. ago. Mostly Buck knives, case, Old Timer (USA). I Catch myself always looking now, thats how I came to your video. I also have a couple decent Chinese knives, that belonged to a past loved one. I've lost a least five buck hunting knives in 5yrs., I'm still looking for them. Swiss is a traditional to me. You have a few to many I would love to have, I'm on a hunt now.
