Just had my interview. Three different people back to back. I hope it’s good news! I’ve used your videos and watched them obsessively for the past week lol. UPDATE- I got the job! My dream job! I start on the 7th! 🧡✨

One time I said my weakness and quickly proceeded to give it a positive spin. the guy stopped me and said: wait... that's a strength, though. And I said: yes. this is a job interview, that's how it goes. and also, THAT'S good marketing. they laughed. i got the job

I followed a lot of the steps in your interview process videos and focused on your salary negotiation tips with Austin Belcak. It resulted in $18k more than the initial base salary they offered, extra 2 weeks of vacation, 90% tuition reimbursement/career development, senior title/role, 10% annual bonus. I'm still in disbelief reading my confirmation letter Thanks for all of the value you provide Madeline !!!!!!!!!!
  • My greatest weakness: "I am not the most vocally assertive person, and I tend to err on the side of 'not making waves,' whenever possible, unless something is gravely wrong. However, because I do not complain too much, I find that when I DO speak up, my thoughts are given more credibility." I welcome you, and anybody else, to weigh in on this. Maybe, this is great. Maybe, it's downright terrible. I welcome everybody's feedback on this.

In an interview I responded to this with my canned answer. The interviewer responds “great, give me another one.” Threw me off entirely.
  • I have been binging your videos trying to absorb as much information as possible for the month long of interviewing I did… but it paid off because I GOT ITTTTT🎉🎉🎉🎉 thank you so much, fairy job mother!!!
  • Thanks Madeline, when they asked me my weaknesses i tell them my patience, that sometimes i got frustrated easily because of that my lack of patience, and then i tell the story on how i started a new hobby which is painting and sculpting and that improved my tolerance and patience, because paints and clay need time to dry and cure and no matter how hurry or how anxous you are, you have to wait and give the materials time, if you want to success, if not you can ruin your work. So that hobby helped me a lot to be better. Usually a get a good response by the interviewer and also lead to anecdotes and some small talk about the hobby that relax the mood

"Why don't I tell you what my greatest weaknesses are? I work too hard, I care too much and sometimes I can be too invested in my job." - Michael Scott from The Office

Thank you so much for putting these videos together and sharing your knowledge. I just completed a 2nd interview today and the strengths and weaknesses questions came up along with many others that you suggested in your other videos. I bombed the first interview and was shocked that I received a second. I felt less anxious and more confident in this interview because I practiced the sample answers and tips you provided. They probably thought they were interviewing a totally different candidate. Thank you again for making these WONDERFUL videos. Fingers crossed that I get the job! :)
  • Madeline! Thank you so much for all the interview tips. With your help I was able to land a job as an ISD Analyst within my current company. I had to navigate two case studies in the second interview to be considered. You are awesome!

I have no interviews planned down the line and have a settled job. Still i couldn't resist watching your video notifications. I love your expressions, energy and content.
  • @N8N-Soccer
Of all the channels I watched in prep for my interviews I think yours was the most helpful. The key really was watching you and how conversational your presentations are. Best advice to job hunters --prepare..relax and be your best self.
  • Hi Madaline, I am an Engineer with 30 years experience and preparing for an internal interview with my company. I have experienced both the strength and weakness questions. You videos are helpful, despite having been in the workforce for over 30 years with dozens of interviews under my belt!

This! Your how to get hired video playlist helped me get 3 offers last month. I had been wanting to upgrade my career path and not only did I get to do it, I also got them to raise my offer essentially doubling my salary with better benefits. If someone has any doubts on her advise, follow it, trust.
