Never thought I would get to see a beautiful Raiderette throwing discs on YouTube, thank you Brodie for bringing discgolf to another level ever since you sadly switched from PGA aspirations to the PDGA grind.

team ringer baby! i throw ringers and ringer-gt's in all kinds of plastics. cover ALL my putter needs both putting and throwing. from very understable (old run of beat in soft x ringer) to slightly understable/straight (old run pro d ringer/new run of soft x ringer/premium plastics of ringers) to overstable (zflx ringer-gt) to putting (old or new run of soft x ringer-gt). it will be interesting to try a ringer-gt without bead though. not sure how i will like it, since i do like the bead on the original ringer-gt, but the zflx ringer-gt is VERY hard to get these days, so it could be replacing that slot maybe. banger is just weird and i never really liked it much.

I put with banger gt so... I love the track for more grip for spinning the disc with the finger pop. I is a different plastic that is grippier...

I need to get my hands on one of these battle packs. I know I like the feel of the original Banger GT so I may be a little bias going into the challenge.

I use to exclusively putt with banger GT's and loved em. I am more excited about the zone ringer though, I need something similar to a pig in a premium plastic

I was looking for a disc in-between my zones and my zone OS also and recently found a flat top buzz OS and it’s definitely the disc for me. I had a buzz OS before I didn’t like but this one is flat and a bit more over-stable than the zone and less stable than the zone OS. It also flies about 20-25 feet further than my regular z zone.

Try the Z Metallic Ringer from Ledgestone. It does not have the thumb groove, and it fits what you described. Best overall approach disc, IMHO.

I'm probably gonna buy them. The ones they don't end up producing will be a rare and cool addition to any disc golfer's collection.
