A special treat! The manager was kind enough to let me assist in testing the fire alarm system! The hotel was built July 2015.

I'm surprised to see how the crew authorized you to do it

The evacuation sounds like it's happy or something ?? XD
  • I have a Genesis G4F-S7VM in my collection, how cool is that, and one with red lens, too!

This is the first time I've ever heard an EST voice evac system use the "hard"/serious version of Message #1 or any message for that matter. Doesn't seem very common.

Once I discovered a fire and I went to pull the fire alarm it said push in pull down the old BG 10 and you had to push it in and pull the handle out towards you and down? Why was it that you had to pull the handle out towards you and then pull it down? When I tried pulling it straight down it did not work. How would you have responded if the handle did not go straight down? Thanks

These are G4-S7VM speaker/strobes, because the system is 70 volts.

Ever noticed that the EST whoop has subtle background tones of a higher-pitched whooping sound?

1/4 sounds loud because how powerful the speaker is and the Edward's voice evac message when he is talking he is talking in a high pitch for some reason
