  • I played Christmas Future. I loved watching this ❤ I’m glad you liked it!
  • The narrator is Clark Baxtresser, who also wrote the story and music. He was also the character “Clark” in Firebringer
  • @manfreaky1678
The fact that Joey and Lauren are in a relationship makes their duets so much more special as well <3

'Humbug' is an old fashioned term for nonsense. A lot of adaptations make the 'bah' part its own word, said like 'bar', but I always thought it was meant to be just a frustrated or dismissive noise (like an angrier 'meh') that just happens to begin with a B, rather than an actual word in its own right. It's basically Scrooge calling BS.

Here’s the cast list: Narrator: Clark Baxtresser (wrote the whole show in less than a year(under 6 months if I remember correctly)) Scrooge: Dylan Saunders Fred: Corey Dorris Bob Cratchit: Joey Richter Jacob Marley: Meredith Stepien Christmas Past: Jaime Lynn Beatty Young Scrooge: Brian Rosenthal Sister/Turkey Boy: Ali Gordon Mr Fezziwig: AJ Holmes Belle: Britney Colman Christmas Present: James Tolbert Emily Cratchit: Lauren Lopez Tiny Tim: Brian Holden Christmas Future: Jaime Burns Director: Corey Lubowhich And you can still get a digital ticket to it until January 1st! There’s also 3 behind the scenes vlogs about it. There is one on JLB and Merediths channel on doing it virtually and another one on merediths channel about the live show!
  • "I think we're all in need of some Christmas spirit, or just any spirit at all" I immediately start singing Christmas Electricity
  • @rynbliss
the song the last ghost gives me chills every time, jamie burn (chorn)'s voice is so magical, the perfect choice for christmas future. also idk if anyones pointed it out yet, but the 3 spirits are played by all the jamies (jamie, jamie, and james lol)
  • @RobertDPore
I knew prior to watching your reaction that Belle was sung by Brittney Coleman on the album, but I only just realized that means Belle was sung by BELLatrix Lestrange! heehee Also, Angela was lamentably not in this show (that was Jaime Burns, aka Chorn, you were hearing), but there are lovely photos out there of Angela and Mariah enjoying themselves in the audience, along with Curt and Kim, who were both understudies in case anyone got sick.

So I got to see this live and every single second was a pinch me moment. They were RIGHT THERE!!! They were all so incredible and their excitement to be performing live again was so clear. I’ve adored them since I was 13. It’s been almost a decade of watching them grow as performers and it’s just really incredible to witness.

Saw the 2021 live show. So much fun. The audience (and chat) went nuts for Jaime Lyn as Ghost of Xmas Past. And PRICELESS is the Richpez love duet we've always needed.
  • I just randomly clicked on this video again and I have to say: This is my favorite reaction of you hahaha also for all your questions in the video, the answer is: CLARK
  • @LukeBridger
Everyone did amazing in here, Lauren's high note is EVERYTHING! Also side note: I've watched this reaction twice and I've only just caught this 😭😭 15:24 "the ghost of future past" I always accidentally say that
  • @krissmith800
You can buy digital tickets until January 1st. I suggest getting it because it is so worth it.
  • @Chromaggia
This show is truly magical. I’m normally a huge Scrooge myself, but SOMEHOW this show managed to give me a ton of Christmas spirit. So glad to see you loved it as much as I did! I really hope we get to see more of Clark’s songwriting in the future. (My favorite Christmas songs are Carol of the Bells and Lost in a Christmas Dream by Temperance ❤️)
  • I literally only listened to the soundtrack this morning, and I’m pissed at myself that I didn’t give this show a chance sooner because now it’s one of my favourite Starkid shows despite the fact I haven’t even seen it live yet
  • VHS Christmas Carol has pretty much defined my Christmas this year. I listened to it while wrapping gifts then rewatched it with my sister on Christmas Eve when she wasn't feeling well. I've had random bits of the songs stuck in my head for the past few days.
  • If you get the chance and have the financial means, you should definitely buy the digital ticket for the live show, because it absolutely slaps and the choreography is awesome.
  • Just recently bought it, guys you have no idea how good it is. It even includes fan interactions and cast questions.

My favourite Christmas song is probably any of this album or Darren's cover of "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas" I said most this on patreon but I'm so glad you loved this! Clark Baxtresser (keys in TTO, singer in Ani, helped with music for Spies are Forever, and member of TalkFine) was the narrator, wrote it, and did the music! He did so amazing! The show takes place in the 1880s but with costumes from the 1980s and it was so cool to see (and was lampshaded by AJ Holmes during the preshow) In this performance Dylan was Scrooge, Corey was Fred, Joey was Bob Cratchit, Lauren was Emily Cratchit and one of the donation men, Ali Gordon (Vanessa in Me and My Dick) was Scrooge's sister and Turkey Boy, Meredith was Marley, Jaime Lyn was Christmas Past, James Tolbert was Christmas Present, Jamie Burns (chorn) was Christmas Future, Brian Rosenthal was Young Scrooge, Brian Holden was Tiny Tim, AJ Holmes (Lockheart and Joey's Heart) was Fezziwig and the main donation man, Britney Coleman (Bellatrix) was Belle. In the performance I saw the cast was mostly the same with Britney and Ali's roles changed, Britney's filled in by Janaya Mahealani Jones and Ali's split amongst the rest of the cast (except turkey boy where she videoed in). Curt Mega and Kim Whalen were also Understudies for the 2021 production, Curt for Scrooge, Kim for Marley, Past, and Belle. Also Present got a dance break which is well deserved since it is James Tolbert and he's a dancing icon! I got to see this at the beginning of the month and it just absolutely floored me and I loved it. The digital ticket for this year's performance is still up til January 1st! I highly recommend it cause it has some new interludes which I know you'll love
