21:23 so the move Substitute's toy-like sprite in FireRed/LeafGreen actually came from Decilla's design... after all these years, that substitute decoy finally has its known origin...

This feels so weird. It's like some of these Pokemon could be our childhood Pokemon, could be our favorite ones, but they are scrapped and now they are in the deep oblivion.

I have this nagging feeling that one of the remaining missing beta Pokemon for Red and Green is a Growlithe pre-evolution since that line is a version exclusive equivalent to the Vulpix line, which also has a pre-evolution in the beta. Also worth noting how both pre-evolutions were planned in the GS beta too.

While I prefer Blastoise, Totartle is really cool looking.

Everyone's going about Tortatle, Gorochu and Nidoreign while i am all about Gorotora, Ohmega, Guardia and Maws. . . So much of these beta design would make for interesting pkmn as they stand (or at least with some little tweaks).

I like how goruchu used the Pokémon cry that isn’t referenced to any Pokémon in Red, it makes it sound like it’s made for it.

They should've kept Gorochu instead of Pichu Edit: I'm also glad they got rid of Bittybat because we wouldn't have the badass Crobat

That's crazy I think that originally it was 186 Pokemon then the one we know 150 pokemon and some of them crazy to think that they were add it but the less it is very interesting looking at the beta poke Dex 👌👍❤️ love they Sprites ❤️💯
