I think this proves how smart Electro was and how saddening it is to see him become like this. He was a really bright individual that was alone for his entire life.

2:13 I like to observe the details of how Electro is. He's not like the Green Goblin or Venom who kills out of sadism. Electro kills out of pure hatred and revenge. So much so that the more irritated, the more flawed his voice is. In addition to electricity. Poor Max, his life was hellish in every way.

I personally like this version of electro. He has a tragic backstory that is very underrated. It hit me in the feels every time his boss was mean to him. People are going to say “It’s just a movie, he is just a character.” I know. I am allowed to feel sympathy towards a character just like everyone else does to other characters. I say that it makes me feel bad every time his boss is mean to him because of the fact that he never do anything to anyone. He was just a lonely misunderstood character that got bullied and made fun of. I think that this version of electro is amazing and deserves more love.
