How To Read The Line Board, its a question I hear all the time from new students, so in this video, for you PDR Beginners, I have a quick, easy demonstration that I hope helps!
When the lines are spread apart this indicates a low spot aka a dent
When the lines are pinched together it indicates a high spot or crown
Line boards are great for Paintless Dent Removal as they show a great amount of detail particularly in the finishing stages of a Dent Repair
Understanding how to read dent damage is so important, it doesn't matter whether you use lines, fog or natural reflection as long as you, the tech carrying out the repair can read the damage

What about non backlit line boards? I've been using LED and saw , after watching some videos how line boards can work. I bought a couple. They aren't backlight but I do have my lights and keep trying to position to use them. It feels like wasted money.

Im not a pro ..i do this for small door dingS ect.....should i get a line board or a reflector board..i was looking at the elima,dent vs. A cheap reflector board
