I started cleaning houses about 10 years ago and I love it! I've never had a job that was so appreciated by those you work for. Although I don't know how you do 3 houses a day, 2 is my max and I'm wrecked after that. Woman you are a machine!

She has a system of routines and habits and she encourages you along everyday. I went from a very disorganized house to a very functional and clean house. As a harpist, many weddings take place in spring...so this time of the year, my brides have punted to fall or have decided not to have a big wedding...so this is the first spring I can concentrate on my own home!!! Great video ladies! I also clean houses for a living. I use very similar products that Mel uses. I also do basic cleaning. I will do a deep clean if requested, but basically I do a general clean. I have been cleaning for 16 years. I worked in a factory for 31 years and my factory closed and moved to Mexico. So I took a entrepreneur class at our local Business College, and basically I learned how to use the computer and Microsoft office. (Which I needed in my business). I was 55 at the time. I am now 71 and I still clean. I have semi retired and slowed down some but I love it. I have great clients and have made many friends through the years. So if any of you ladies/ guys out there needs a job, house cleaning is a great business to get into. It's cheap to start, set your own hours and work as many days as you want. It's hard work, but satisfying. One more tip Don't Charge by the hour, charge by the job. I often talk at our local Social Services to young men and women on how to start a business on a shoestring. There are many businesses out there that can be started with little or no money. Hugs and Blessings to all!

When I clean, I try to use natural cleaners or just water. It depends of how dirty is the house. This lady is amazing and she has really good tips. I do some of the same steps.

The info was very helpful. I ordered the beeswax polish and lambs wool duster. I dusted my entire house today and cleaned my granite countertops with the polish. Very pleased with the results.
