  • Pimp C loved Pac. Even his homeboys he came up with say the same thing. Thug Life vol. 1 and Me Against The World is what a lot of people in the south really rocked with this all prior to Death Row. If you go listen to UGK's double album "Underground Kingz" there's tons of Pac references throughout it.
  • The 90s was something else!! You had to be there alive and well to witness its dominance during those times from all spectrums. From music to sports to movies to so on. Greatest decade ever and I'm so grateful to witness! Still nothing close! Rest up 🐐 Makaveli The Don, you truly miss bruh 💯💪🏾

It's crazy how Pimp C didn't like Jay Z because of 2Pac not liking Jay Z. Now that's a true fan.
  • Pimp C didn’t like anyone who Pac didn’t like and the OG Too $hort outta Oakland will confirm this i respect Chad Butler aka Pimp C for doing that 💯.

Pimp C is a real one. Also, you have to love the Southern independent movement where you don’t have to jump at the first million dollar deal.

I've always admired the story of Pimp when asked to collab with Jay and he spoke with his Pac picture! Pimp was a real one, the culture needs him!

glad to see Jamal is doing well. I still play Keep it Real till this day. Born in 95 but still show love to the classics. there was a rumour on the Keep It Real video that he was doing bad and homeless in Atlanta on the video. glad to see his doing well. Legend, Jamal was only 16 but lyrically was ahead of a lot of rappers. that Keep IT real join hits different
  • He considered Pac to be the realest . “So if he didn’t fuck wit you , why should i ?” .

damn yall as a grown man i'm damn near tearing up. UGK was so synonymous with my youth i remember the getting that Super Tight album working at Budget Rental car I would take that tape from car to car. growing up in Louisiana hearing them guys was a inspiration. Today to see folks still talk about PIMP/UGK the way they do man he really is a Legend. Thanks AOD for having these guys on man. Making it so we all can hear these stories being told from the ones that lived it. Can't say enough bro
