The video's an hour long, I'm not sure what I'd be able to put into the description to help sell this video, so I'll talk about something else entirely. Have any of you ever stayed at Coronado Springs at Walt Disney World? Honestly, I think it's kind of an underrated resort. Sure, the only transportation options are busses, but once you get passed that the entire resort is a vibe. The pool? Amazing. Dining options? Great. It's nice and quiet and the theme is blended in beautifully. Highly recommend Coronado Springs if you get the chance.

With all that extra space in Galaxy's Edge, why is there not a walk-through attraction or two in this land. There is so much space. Can you imagine walking into Jabba's throne room and then going down to the rancor dungeon

An hour-long video? I’m on the Galaxy’s Edge of my seat
  • @bexiechick988
The most likely reason why the Starcruiser was so expensive is because of the actors who are working 12+ hour shifts in character. I'm not blaming the actors, I'm blaming Disney. They were dumping that immersion cost onto the guests instead of putting it into the parks. I agree with you that hopefully they learned a lesson and will transfer that immersion into Galaxy's Edge.
  • The one thing that Harry Potter world has over galaxy’s edge is the ability to interact with the environment with the use of the wands. If they could somehow do that like you were using the force at galaxy’s edge, it would definitely increase the immersion and feel that you are a part of it

Keeping that lightsaber precariously balanced against a desk lamp directly above a burning candle is WILD
  • @writerpatrick
The price doomed the Starcruiser before it even opened. Only the wealthiest could afford it, and when it was no longer new most lost interest. It was also more expensive than a cruise with less time and less to do.

I legitimately think Star Tours does a better overall job than Galaxy’s Edge at celebrating the franchise as a whole and paying tribute to all that came before it.

As an opening crew castmember on Disneyland Side (Falcon, Rise of the Resistance), I can tell you this. Galaxy's Edge is a great way to get from Hungry Bear to Fantasyland without doubling back on yourself.

I'm a disabled Star Wars fan, I have been in Galaxy's Edge twice, I have to agree with the shopping mall vibes, because I cannot ride Smuggler's Run or Rise of the Resistance. I loved getting Blue Milk, walking around the land and meeting Rey and Chewbacca, and last time I went I did build a lightsaber which for me was absolutely amazing. I'd love an attraction I could actually ride, or a walk through. I am so amazed by the level of detail I saw in the Land.

Not gonna lie, I had the luck to spend a birthday at the Starcruiser. It was fun seeing people getting into character, but definitely priced too high. (Seeing people allowed to wear custom costumes was cool, saw two mandalorian merc level cosplayers on board) Kinda sad that they closed it instead of just lowering the reservation price to make it more accessible for families.
  • I don't see why Galaxy's Edge doesn't have droids. Disney has the tech. PUSH was in Tomorrowand for years.
  • @obi-onekenerdi
What might fix a lot of problems is just making Star Wars it’s own new park, with its own lands; Hoth, Tatooine, Endor, Coruscant, Cloud City, and have like little space ship themed transition points, or Hyperspace jump points or something to take you to each one or something. It would make the Star Wars universe feel less small which Galaxy’s edge does.

It needs more immersion. Incorporate the MagicBand technology to allow guests to develop their own story. The bounty hunting is a good start, but it needs more. After the 20th bounty, it starts over. Still waiting for the droids and aliens we were promised.

Hour long Offhand Disney video? LET'S GOOOOOO!!! Edit: After watching the video I think that they should at speeder bikes with hitching posts at the stops Edit 2: Thank you for your praise Mr. Offhand Dallin
  • @toddhensley880
Starcruiser should be converted to a resort hotel that is supposed to be “on Batuu” on the outskirts of Black Spire Outpost. It could have a pool and interactive role playing restaurants and common areas. Think Adventurers Club with a Star Wars theme.
  • I miss DisneyQuest. I loved building my own roller coater and flying the magic carpet. Mostly I enjoyed all the old arcade games. I miss going to arcades.
  • @Savage_6314
Everybody’s talking about an hour of Offhand Disney and while that’s great I’m here for the video of bread that looks like baymax
  • @sirbossk
The first time I went to Galaxy's Edge, my mind was legitimately blown. Now, besides riding Rise of the Resistance, it's always sort of an afterthought in the average Disneyland day. For me, the Wizarding World has aged much better on repeat visits. There's just more mystique and intrigue there, and it feels more lived in and dynamic and worth revisiting every now and then. I really think you need to make a point to get out to a Universal park at some point. Disney's overall catalog of parks right now is definitely better, but I think the stuff Universal has been building recently far outshines Disney's new stuff. Next time you're in Florida, tack on a day at Islands of Adventure and try to get on Hagrid's and Velocicoaster.
  • @clh3620
A kid-friendly ride & additional restaurants & more seating would significantly increase the time people spend in Galaxy's Edge. In Florida, it seems like there is plenty of space in the NW side of the land to do that.
  • @AustinCollins
I’ve never been more excited to look at my screen for one hour, four minutes, and fifty-seven seconds.
