I had to Google "spalted", and I now feel educated as well as artistically entertained! The subtle amount of blue resin really set the markings off a treat. Absolutely beautiful!
-
Not only do I not have to work today, I wake up and see a new video from Andy. Today is going to be a really good day.

The art of seeing the end of a thing from the beginning is something not many people can see. You, my friend, see it clearly. Your best piece yet! Stunning!

I have to be up in 5 hours but noooo, I am down the wood turning rabbit hole again
-
When you began turning the natural edge away I went, "Nooooooooooooooo!" so I'm glad you explained why you did it. I love the final shape of the vessel, and of course the spalting is exquisite.

What a stunning piece of wood! It looks more like stone. Love the shape and the color of the resin, really lovely, keep going!
-
Wow. Absolutely gorgeous piece of wood and work.
-
The veining is lovely. The touch of color doesn’t overwhelm the beautiful wood. Very nice!
-
Love it! Blue is the perfect colour to compliment the ash
-
Looks like an avocado pit. Gorgeous.
-
Lovely! Spalted wood is so beautiful
-
Another STUNNING piece of art big yin. Keep up the good work Andy. We love your work!!!
-
Beautiful. Split + spalted = splalted? The blue-green vein in it gives it an extra punch of wow. Thank you again for sharing.
-
That is a gorgeous vase. That wood is absolutely stunning.

I don't think that could be improved in any way. The amazing natural patterning of the wood, the perfect contrast of the blue resin stripe. I love the pieces where the wood itself is the subject and you enable it to sing. Coloured pencils and mosaics of different coloured woods are great fun but there the star is the technique. Here it's all about the wood.

You’ve done an outstanding job!
-
you never miss, these are always so good
-
No offence Mr. Phillip but God really is the greatest artist. That's not to say that you are not a wonderful artist yourself. Thanks for the videos. 😎

The spalting resembles lightning across the wood. I love the contrasting colors and subtle nuances.

The spalting in this piece is spectacular and you brought out every bit of its beauty. Wow! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
