They are also known to be the revealers of truth behind illusion. When they cross your path it symbolizes telling you to start fresh and let go of your fears. I'm not sure if this encounter was staged but it seems like it was natural? If so, I feel like it meant something. I also agree with you on Dom only caring about the music.
