  • Actually, when looking at it from Davey's angle, it looks like he inteded to shoot Trevor, but Brad got in the way. Michael even later confirms it with Franklin, he said "Wrong guy got killed"
  • @chompski3716
Frank: Yelling Lester: "Hello Franklin! :D" Frank: "Sup! :)" One of the best moments of the whole game!
  • @cobrabear6497
Trevor was supposed to be the one who got shot, brad just got in the way.

My personal detail about death wish is how Franklin invites Lamar, it's literally the only time in the game Lamar is intentionally joining Franklin on something he's not in charge of.
  • Cool thing that not many people seem to know is that Ned Luke, the VA for Michael is actually nearly deaf in his right ear. That's why when characters speak to Michael from his right side he would turn to face them head on. Also the in-game explanation for it, is that Michael got his eardrum busted from the shot that flew past his head at 1:12 You can even see him holding his ear.
  • Fun fact: during the scene where Trevor is talking to Franklin in his front yard and he trips falling over the fence, Trevor’s voice actor actually tripped and fell in the recording booth actually making Franklin’s laugh
  • @Someone-lg6di
The thing that suprised me was that all the characters roam about as civilians when u dont play them. Case in point i actually ran over michael in free roam once and realized just as he got hit by a car

Deathwish is the cannon ending. Michael and Trevor are both confirmed alive in GTA Online now. GTA online may be a hellhole but the way it expands on the story of the wider universe is great to me.

You mentioned the idea of San Andreas being hours away from the city, Trevor says that, and it showing that just because the drive is 5 minutes for us it is a very big travel time in lore. I think another small way they show this is the clock on the phone, it moves a lot quicker than real life and I think this can help give an actual idea of how long some drives are, like going from the airport to the military base may be like a 3 minute drive but if you watch the in game clock it’s maybe 45 minutes

It’s honestly crazy to me how you keep putting these out week after week and I just hope you’re taking care not to get burnt out or overwhelmed, love these videos man!!!
  • @cassidyposting
also, Franklin laughing at Trevor falling over the fence, and the scene thereafter, was almost entirely improvised. goes to show how fucking good Ogg and Fotneno are at their jobs.
  • @codywright7932
Michael: You're wasting your time Trevor: Is that why you flew out here, Just to tell me I'm wasting my time? That deserved a win
  • @NekoHibaCosplay
5:36 and what's best is the voice actors even remade this scene in real life, absolutely comedy gold
  • @Skirish
Wonder how things would've turned out had the original deathwish remained true to it's original idea, that it was a literal deathwish, and that it'd result in Franklin's death, and instead the player would take control of Lamar in franklin's place for the endless free-roam
  • The guy Trevor kills at the start is the main character of the lost and damned dlc for Gta 4.
  • @SZYT
21:17 Amanda only started cheating on Michael because he cheated on her, so that technically is his fault about the fact she cheated in a way This is made clear when Amanda says “I was faithful to you till I found you in a stripper” I could be wrong but I’m 98.7% sure that this is true
  • @masummirza3033
kinda upset that Lamar's "Ooohh he lied to meee~" didn't make the cut, definitely a win.
  • @Lloyd00
I just love the dynamics between the 3 protagonists. Sure the overall story isn't anything special but the way the characters interact throughout is what makes the game so great. I'll take a subpar story with fantastic characters over a great story with shitty characters
