DC Comics August 2024 Solicitations Discussion

Absolute Power does seem to be restarting some parts of the DCU with a lot of books teasing the end of their current story lines. Plenty of these books already lost their direction (Catwoman) or nothing amazing happening (Titans). Kinda surprised Taylor brought Swamp Thing back whenit seems he was just used for the PSA. I do hope AP is decent and whatever planned afterwards is more interesting than what we've been getting. I did not get to finish Dark Knights of Steel and probably should but Viking Deathstroke looks fun on its own. Most surprising is Addie is involved and also what looks like to be Joey which be awesome given how ignored he's been since PriestStroke ended. Poor guy really needs this Elseworlds Viking Adventure with his dad, hope this is a fun book. I tried the first Raven book of Kami Garcia's line and it was just okay. I was going to give the rest a try but kinda gave up on the thirs estallment. Personal bias aside from what I have looked into its mainly her and Piccolo's High SchoolAU of the 2003 TT cartoon with lots of shipping. Now lets see if next book is either Robin (Dick) Loves Starfire or a Cyborg book whcih she said once she would let someone who is black write it instead because apparently black characters can only be written by black people. I'm honestly more interested in Primer Clashing Colors if only to see what looks like the cartoon Titans finally getting to call Slade Deathstroke and hey Ravager is there too.
