  • I followed your advice when my daughter was about 21-22 months old. I made flash cards per your recommendation and used daily. My hope was that she would learn her sounds by the time she was three. Much to my surprise she had everything down pat by her second birthday (so she had learned them in about 2-3 months). She frequently will see letters in her environment and tell us their sound. She knows them in and out of order and upper and lower case. It really astonished us and other people. My encouragement to any parent reading this is: just try it. See what happens. It’s not a race to get your child to read as quickly as you can, but it is astonishing what children are able to learn at young ages. Just go at your child’s pace and see what they’re capable of.

I thought I was losing myself as a mom. Postpartum depression, anger issues, and too focused on my stress that I didn’t realize the pain and hurt I was causing to my son and to our bond. I asked God for help. While looking for that help your channel came to my sight. There are no such things as coincidences. I will teach my son using everything you’ve advised. You’ve reminded me of how everything should be. I’m inspired to change for my son and myself. Already I’ve become a much more patient person. Thank you for the love you hold in your heart to teach the wandering from going astray. You’ve humbled me. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you for your wisdom. 🙏
  • You’re a treasure and your children are blessed to have you as their mother. We, your viewers, are grateful for your wealth of valuable information. I’ve yet to see anyone who understands how to educate children as well as you. No coincidence that you’re also a woman of faith and a great Patriot. I nominate you as Mother and Patriot of the year. 🌷🇺🇸 Thank you and God bless you.

I taught my daughter the sounds a while back. We've been going over and over. I feel so tired of it. Finally, today, she surprised the heck out of me and read new words and I was so happy. Like yes I'm making a difference.

Wow, I know this video is geared towards learning letters and sounds, however my take away was how to be more patient and more enthusiastic with my little ones. Thank you for another great video. You are amazing
  • I started watching your videos when I was searching for phonics sounds for my 4 year old daughter. I began to feel discouraged in teaching her the alphabet sounds and I came across your videos, which my children and I cannot get enough of. My children love your videos and want me to try everything you do with them, even the meal plan. But now I find out that you’re Christian and it all makes sense. I signed up for your newsletter. Thank you so much for your videos and God bless you and your family 🙏🏽
  • I too will add my thank you. I am teaching my now 4yr old using your methods and I see success. Thank you. I always follow your suggestions bc they are ALWAYSSSS on point!!!!! 🤗

Love your videos! Everyone says how smart my kids are because of your videos. I'm so glad you mentioned how it's normal that they mix up the b and d sounds at first!! Love you Jady!
  • @skemberflu
Wow! I'm glad I found your channel. I was actually having a hard time teaching my firstborn to read because we started with the alphabet. And now for my second one, I would definitely do this. Thank you so much!
  • @mhane0925
Awesome! Im gonna be starting to teach my son tomorrow! Pray for my patience, wisdom and gentleness while teaching 🙏
  • Jady, we learned reading really well because of you, because of your lessons. I am very grateful to you. It was one of your first YouTube videos we watched, and used these methods over and over again, with my next children, and they worked really well each time. They are great readers now.
  • @lloydpillay4771
Thank you a million. You have helped me nurture my girl. Also understand that it is never to early to begin teaching and emphasized that teaching starts at home. Thank you for the video of your daughters singing the "A says a". It was an effective tool that I used everyday twice a day.
  • @Famaly
Hello Jady! I would like to make a request could you make a video on how to teach long and short vowel sounds. Thank you so much.
