For being almost 2 years old, this song is scarily accurate to the current stage of the internet
  • @IniakE
Bro this is exactly how using the internet escalates ; from wholesomeness to complete degeneracy.
  • How the song goes from the slow flash back to the slow creepy piano makes me wanna slither out of my skin it gives me the chills
  • @BrokenXDI
The lyrics being true, the music seeming nostalgic, the music also going to different momentums makes this song so livid it's amazing

The way I interpret this track in particular, is that Boburnham is reminding us that we don’t actually have control over anything. The online world, especially now with its marketing data sharing, desperately tries to convince its userbase that they have a say in anything at all. That, on top of the world being taken over by the internet, as a machine or entity none of us can dictate, it’s all a very dystopian but very real thought.

I just realised that after the manic laughter and he starts singing the “a bit of everything all of the time” line his voice slowly becomes more robotic. I’ve been listening to this song since it came out and I love that I’m still finding stuff like this out ❤
  • Once memorized the entire song with a 9 year old to do a hand clap to, it was during summer camp, very fun
  • Me: a song can’t describe something perfectly Bo Burnham: challenge accepted
