All the machines and equipment in the world can’t replace Ian’s hands and vision! 👍🏼👍🏼🥰
  • Jamie does an excellent job editing, selecting music and production. Ian, give Jamie a big pay raise!🥳
  • It's an honor to watch a legend at work! And recorded in a brilliantly produced video.
  • I never get tired of watching Ian cut, shape and form the sheet metal to fit his vision. Truly amazing. I’m also fascinated by the various sheet metal forming tools. Thanks for creating these great videos.
  • Mr Gene Winfield's birthday is today, June 16th. Turning 97 years young, landed on Father's Day this year, pretty cool. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mr. Winfield.

Great job, so cool to see you always learning new things. You guys need some solar panels, get all the power you need in the desert!!

  • 100% a mad scientist does NOT put things away immediately after completing a task👍 The creativity genes override ( clean up OCD)
  • Ian is teaching class on how to fabricate using tools that most of us have or could buy without spending a fortune..have fun in Tennessee
  • Hey Ian & Jamie, Big fan of your work and the channel. Just a quick note, As a lifelong electrician (I'm 60 now), 90 amps is sufficient to run everything on the compound with AC. I have run my home and shop with welder and air compressor on 60 amp service for almost 20 years, ( I just upgraded to 200 amp service last year, selling the house.). This includes hot water, dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer, two separate AC units for central air in the house and one big window unit for the shop, plus everything to needed to run a family of 8 people. Other stuff like 5 xboxes, 6 tv's, 3 alexa's, 11 computers including 3 servers, high speed internet and more (think kitchen). You're goal is to balance the load between each leg in the panel to within 5% of each other by splitting or adding circuits to keep the panel balanced. Ohms law and some math is your friend here. Its tidy and you make full use of your service. Balancing your panel also lowers your electric bill a bit too. I'm sure others on the channel will comment on this but thought this might help. Always look forward to your weekly vids.
  • I love how Jamie adores you Ian. You can tell by the way she laughs at you and with you... and the way she admires and talks to you. Your interaction is refreshing to watch.
  • Hi Jamie and Ian ! Jamie your video work is always stellar....there is so much more to it than just standing there with a camera. You make us feel that we are right there beside Ian as he works his magic with metal ! Ian I'm so very ,very impressed at how quickly you are picking up all the ins and outs of the English wheel art....and I don't use the term Art lightly. It is a skill using motion , pressure , speed , and direction....you Sir are an artisan in your craft ! All the Best !
  • Jamie go on youtube and watch people play music on a hand saw. Ian playing with the sheet metal made me think of that. You will be blown away. Another great job on the camera ❤

TV crew! Love how you knock down the volume for the hammer blows and leave the voice up around it. Very watchable! This is much better work than most audio engineering. "Everybody" seems to always have the driving rock music interstitials way too hot. The viewer is always setting the volume for the narration but then scrambling for the button to "Turn that crap down!". So, thank you!
  • I'm always amazed at how much time (and labor) goes into your craft. In the TV series everyone always commented on how fast you were - like there was a magic wand involved and all the stuff you did on a vehicle occurred in a couple of hours. Obviously, that grossly understated the effort you made and, I think, didn't show you in the proper light. The TV series never really showed the extent of your skills either - an omission corrected by your Youtube videos. Awesome to watch! Thank you both for sharing, and for providing the rare opportunity to learn while being entertained.

Caddywhacked is so beautiful with the different panels and patinas. Old steel, new steel, various colors and all of the brush Stokes laid bare to see . I understand the urge to put a finish to it and am sure you won't disappoint.
  • Its the best to see Ian learn and Grow in each skill set! he is always growing his craft. great EP! comb the desert!
  • I've learned a lot in your last few "english wheel" episodes. Thanks!
