A great way to start a Saturday morning watching you sling paint. Fast and furious indeed, sir.

Watching you dancing with the palett knife through your colours while a far away sun tries to break through and you catch this moments, always makes my heart beating quicker. While your eye watch the scene, your hand is already composing, mixing, smearing, scratching, taking away… all inwhile the blink of an eye. It’s that brilliant and I learned so much while watching you preparing canvas or Belgium linnen, the colours, the palettes, the brushes… I also see your brilliant craftsmen work, realising, how you fixed the canvas, it would be blown away otherwise, fixed it inside for save transport… I know how long it takes oil colours becoming dry… Shortly said, dear Richard, you bright up my day in this overcasted crazy times we all are actually in. Saturday afternoon here in California, and 100 degrees at my house. Been watching you paint this wonderful landscape in the outback. What a fantastic looking spot! 👍

Ричард, здравствуй! В твоей живописи я поняла, что она подчёркивает сложнейшим образом хроматические градации цвета всех предметов. Что к этому пришли мастера Голландии ещё в ХVI - XVII веке. Их так же поддержали французские живописцы, но с приходом импрессионистов эти градации разложились на многочисленные составляющие, что тоже вполне соответствует валёру, но это уже другое состояние. Потому что истинный цвет предметов не в освещённом месте, где отражается тёплый или холодный свет и не в тени, где отражаются рефлексы окружающей среды. Но это есть понятие 'Валёр, что истинный цвет предмета в хроматической градации цвета между светом и тенью. Поэтому пейзаж в пасмурную погоду более приближен к точности в цвете. Ты ловишь свет и делаешь градации и это есть большое достижение. Ты яркий представитель своего континента, делая в картинах волшебство градаций цвета и света. Теперь я понимаю, почему в Австралию в последнее время столько переезжает народа. Все смотрят твои пейзажи и влюбляются в удивительную красочную страну.. )) ❤
