What an amazing ride! The narration, cinematography, music, animations, story, editing... just superb. Outstanding work, George!

Hi George, let me call you 师兄 ShiXiong here. Because of your film, I am in Wudang mountain with Master Gu right now! It is SOOO amazing that a Chinese living in Shanghai like me find out through Youtube that such a place still exists in China! After all, it is not the border of countries that separated us, but the distance from outside to inside world. I got really luck to enter to the mountain a few days ago despite the covid policy restrictions. It definitely reminds me how challenging was for you to enter in 2020! Master Gu and I talked about you a lot. Wish you find a way to keep your powerful, peaceful, beautiful mind. Rita

I can't begin to tell you how much I needed this. I recently turned 69, and I have been feeling as if my life was over. Even though I am unusually healthy for my age, my body has let me know that I am no longer young. I live in isolation, in a place that is not my home, with very little social interaction. Perhaps this is an opportunity to turn within and develop a new understanding of life and mortality. I am a Zen Buddhist, and I find Taoism is completely compatible with the Dharma of The Buddha. Thank you for taking this journey. Whether you realize it or not, you have taken it for the benefit of all sentient beings. One thing I have learned in my 69 years is that if you change one thing, you change everything! Keep up the good work, please!

This documentary left me speechless I’ve been watching your journey and videos a lot but this documentary was executed so well. I loved it! I’m only 17 years old but this gave me so much perspective and I’m so thankful and glad that I got to see and experience your documentary. I find myself often stressing about the future but then I remember I’m young and I have so much opportunities and so much time and im going to use it well and enjoy life. Im going to look deeply into Wudang mountains and plan a trip there whenever I can! Much love

Hello, this is Google's translation. I am very fortunate to see the traditional Taoist culture of China being discovered and liked. I am a Chinese. I love traditional Chinese culture very much. I have been to Wudang Mountain and participated in a short training. Thank you George.[天人合一,道法自然] Man and nature are united, and Taoism is natural. Thank you
  • This is like a 50 minute trailer. This could easily be split out to a multi hour experience of humanity

⚘George, it is a great surprise that a Westerner can appreciate & narrate the Eastern wisdom of Taoism so well. It is a journey through paradise watching your documentary. Your film deserve a special Award. Congratulation! Warmest regards from Malaysia.

I'm only ~11 mins in but everything you're saying, and the people you're meeting are saying, is really resonating. I had to comment after hearing "We are made of nature. Without it, we are nothing." Thank you for allowing us this glimpse into your adventure. Wanderlust is strong in me, and you're showing me why. Now, back to watching :D
  • @laracroft6623
This was an incredible documentary! Probably the best I've ever watched! The cinematography is great but the message is even better! I love that you weren't over inflating facts or talked with a lecturing tone. It felt so genuine and was really beautiful to watch. I really hope you open the captions for translation (my parents speak French and I really want them to watch this). And I REALLY hope this gets the recognition it deserves! Bravo to everyone who was involved and to you George! You were brave and awesome! ♡

Congratulations on completing this documentary. The scenery and cinematography is stunning. I thoroughly enjoyed watching. All the best to you and Master Gu.
  • By the way, technically speaking this documentary is great. The music, the transitions in the editing and the choice of footages is so cleverly put together and this is just your first. Please make more documentaries! 🙏🤗🌞
