  • I can't help but feel that, if the account of the fall of Jericho was recorded in secular texts rather than religious texts, then people wouldn't be trying so hard to disprove the dating of it, but would rather just accept the find for what it is: corroboration of an ancient historical record.
  • It is incredible to think that God commanded the Israelites not to take the devoted things, so thousands of years later we would corroborate his word with archeological finds. Can't imagine how many Israelites might have questioned this command. God's ways are, indeed, higher than ours. Glory to the Lord!. Amen

I love how time and history vindicates the veracity of the Biblical accounts. Through careful, rigorous scholarship, God is proven truthful throughout generations. Thank you for this! Praise God for His faithfulness to preserve His witness through time.
  • I love the fact that people are actually working to prove the Bible right. I'm so glad I have all this evidence and more coming out. I've always believed everything in the Bible was true. Amen
  • The fact that they found the burn layers, the burned grains. It lines up with Scripture and after all these years it atill exists as a beacon for us to marvel....Wow!!!
  • Having achealogical evidence is a bonus. We thank God for men like you who extra research. The Word of God is brought to light.

A most excellent video that sets the record straight, by matching the archaeological dating with Scripture.
  • Great documentary! Thank you for your work! I had the opportunity to be a student of Dr. Bryant Wood in the mid 1990s at Messiah College. He taught us exactly this same information on Jericho, and I’ve never forgotten it. Such a treasure. So reaffirming of the Biblical account and the authority of Scripture. Praise God!

I've done some extensive research on Jericho and the excavations done there. I've also listened to Dr Woods interpretation and study on the pottery. I find it very disturbing that most scholars will follow Kathleen Kenyon's final determination, especially with the erroneous way as to how she came to her conclusion. The pottery doesn't lie and the lack of Cyprian pottery not found (where) Kenyon dug is a ridiculous way to come to a conclusion. (She dated the sight on what she didn't find). Not to mention she seemed to have ignored the pottery which was found by previous digs and her own. I believe Dr Bryant Wood is correct and this was the Jericho of Joshua's time. Everything about the Tel coincides with the Biblical story to a tee. To refute the facts is blindness.
  • I just do not understand why this channel does not have at least a million subscribers. Such a shame, definitely deserves so much more recognition!!!!!!

I believed all my life the walls came tumbling down. And still do. Thanks for this recording.
  • Love your program. The information is presented so clearly, with accurate depth of the biblical text and the physical evidence!❤

IMAGINE if no one wrote about the account of the fall of Jericho, archeologists today who would have stumbled upon this site would be trying so hard to give ideas as to what happened back then. Except that we do know what happened, and in great detail. Knowledge is so valuable when you understand the risks of not possessing it.
  • Thank you. I don't need to be convinced, because I believe, but I do need to have my faith bolstered from time to time, and that is what your work and these videos do for me. Thank you.
  • Finally I understand how the walls fell. Very good video
  • Joel, you and your production team are educators par excellence, for which we can thank the Lord and you all for your service to Him. Thank you!

Simply amazing to think that so much of contemporary archaeology can be based on so little evidence, while the contending biblical theory can have so much more substantial evidence in its favor, yet not be wildly accepted. Awesome video.

Never doubted the walls of Jericho. . Thank you for a most interesting archeologist find. Have learned so much.

I go with the Biblical account, I also have abundance of faith in the Bible and all contained. It is only interesting to see these archaeological studies, I will always side on the side of the Bible. This is very powerful information. Just because you did not find what you were lookiing for does not mean it is not there.
